She knows how to make dreams come true.…
Mechanic Malcolm Kavanaugh loves figuring out how things work, and Parker Brown - with her mile-long legs - is no exception. But as a good friend of Parker’s brother, Mal knows that moving from minor flirtation to major hookup is a serious step.
No man has rattled Parker in a long time, but the motorcycle-riding, raven-haired Mal seems to have a knack for it. "Wonderful ending!"
I was thrilled to see Nora Roberts was back to her previous form with this fourth book in the series. The characters were fun and enjoyable! I really loved this final chapter to such a great series. I'm going to miss the characters!!!
"This is a great close to this wonderful series."
This is a great close to this wonderful series. Even though most Nora Roberts love stories are very predictable she has a way of writing characters that you know them. I can see being friends with these people I feel like I have been part of their lives. Parker’s story is a great way to close out a great quartet.
"Great ending to the series"
This was Parker's story. It tied everything up and we even got to see Mac's wedding. Only sorry we don't get to see the other three weddings. This is one of my favorite Nora Roberts series. Absolutely loved it!
"Loved It!!!"
I read this series and I have to say I loved it! I felt as if I knew each of the characters and was experiencing the story through them. I wanted to get married again and let Vows plan the whole thing. Great book!
"4 girls and a wedding business: the final chapter"
Definitely! The voices in your head just can't compare to what Angela Dawe comes up with.
Malcolm because he is so unapologetic for being from the social class he is from. He realizes that it is important but not all encompassing when he falls for a woman with a lot of financial power. It's nice to see a character who isn't afraid to admit he didn't come from a lot of money.
I've only heard her on this series, but I think she has gotten better as these books have been published.
Money is no problem.
"Quartet, Book 4"
Easy listen. No need to rewind if you get distrated since the plot was simple and easy to follow.
"I love this series!"
No, only because I like only reading books once.
Laurel, I could identify with her best.
Voices to the personalities
I am a huge fan of romances and happy endings. I like books that take me away from everyday life and into the land of romance, some adventure and of course happy endings.
"Waited but let down when it arrived"
I can't tell you how many book from Nora Roberts that I own or have read. This Quartet was something I really looked forward to and enjoyed the 1st 3 books. I feel like the author got tired of her subjects and just winged the last and final book to get it finished and out on the shelves. I expected more character depth from Parker the lead lady in the book and was let down.
I don't regret my purchase but could have used more closure and depth from the characters. I believe that this author put these books out for all her old fans to keep us happy.
I'm a 30-something nerdgirl with a part-time video game addiction and an inclination to getting lost in story.
"So disappointed :("
I LOVE Nora Roberts...like hardcore....I find her writing to be highly superior. The being said, this was probably the worst book of hers I have ever read! I was so disappointed, not in the story but the flow and writing itself. I found myself feeling that most scenes were rushed and cut short, which is very unusual for her. In one instance there was a small plot line that was randomly thrown in at the end with explaination. Overall, it left me confused.
