    "Enjoying Series"

I'm enjoying the series much more than I thought I would. Enjoyed it more when Kelly was the narrator in Born of Night. Fred doesn't give enough differences between the voices for me. And his female voices are grating, to say the least. Didn't like him when he read the Dark-Hunter series, either. Sigh!!!!

    "Not "Night" but still good"

The narrorator is different from the "Night" book and it threw me off a bit. The story is good, but a bit predictable. Either way it was good entertainment.

    "Irritating"

I had hoped this book would be better than the first book (Born of Night) of this series... it was not. As with the first, the female heroine was week, simpering, whinny and dumb as a rock. The narrator was better, however than the narrator in the first book.

    "Better Than Ambian"

Sadly, the blurb was more engaging than the book. After a solid hour and a half of repetitive, irritating backstory on virtually every character who crossed the page, I turned my MP3 off in disgust. I understand this was a sophomore book for Ms.Kenyon, but she really should have taken the time to clean up the sophomore errors. I would not recommend this book unless you suffer from insomnia. It's sure to put you to sleep.

    "Definitely kept my attention"

I just dragged myself through The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo, that other people raved about, I was bored. The last couple of the Dark Hunters Wolf (Fang) were okay but I haven't used my credit on another of the werewolf books. I am downloading Born in Ice now. I liked "Acheron" a lot. I am enjoying the new series.

"good book but not as good as the others"

This is worth a listen. I might have enjoyed it more if I had not read it out of the order. I don't know, but it gave great history into the story line. Just read it in order!

Yes, Again another listen that kept me wanting more. I could believe the story, the negative thoughts that the little voices in our heads can say to us.

    The Ending. WOW.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The bubble bath.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    The End.

    "out standing!!! you want MORE!!"
Would you consider the audio edition of Born of Fire to be better than the print version?

in some ways!! but either way it was a great listen. i read the book first.. but couldn't wait to get it to listen to . reading it was one way to get into it... but listening to it was another way to get a thrill and excitement . hearing some ones voice expressing the feelings of the story. so i can tell you how i loved it .. go for it and you will not be let down!! TRUST ME!!!

What did you like best about this story?

the end!! leaves you wanting to go right to the next book!!! you really become part of the feelings of the group you are reading about. the sign of a great story!!!

Which character – as performed by Fred Berman – was your favorite?

hard to pick!!! fred was so good with each character. he gave each one a soul and presonalty. he did a great job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

not just a love story .... an action packed movie... great date flick!!!

    Any additional comments?

i have read the whole series... and now have listened to it as well. i can't get over how exciting each way was wonderful!!
