Making Contact with the Other Side: How to Enhance Your Own Psychic Powers

The publisher's review is inaccurate and misleading. Although I am sure this was an interesting lecture, it does not provide what the description promises---it fall far short. I was expecting a book and instead realized very quickly this is nothing more than a recording of a seminar. Also, please note, there is a great deal of swearing in this lecture that may offend some.

Sylvia is great in her "comedy" but this audio book was nothing like the summary claimed it to be. I was a little disappointed but left with a good feeling since laughter is great for the soul!

Although Sylvia comes through with her extraordinary wit and knowledge of her subject matter, the review offered by audible is inaccurate. She really does not teach anything other than her philosophy with this book. It offers nothing beyond what is offered in her other books or even what you have learned from her on the Montel shows. Disappointing and redundant when compared with her other books or even her tv appearances.

If you haven't taken the opportunity of listening to Sylvia Browne before, then I would recommend this book. Even if you have read several of her books, I still recommend this one. Sylvia's down to earth manner is refreshing as she introduces many new ideas about how to think of our life here on earth. This book like many of her other works does not expect you to clear your mind to achieve some sort of nirvana.

It's a fun, upbeat book which makes me laugh out loud and smile alot everytime I listen.

this "book" was actually a recorded seminar, and hardly touched on how to contact one's spirit guide at all. I am very disappointed.

Sylvia is in rare form in this audio program. She is funny and engaging. If you have read her other books, you might find this program to be repititous. If you have not read any of her other books, I would not reccomend this one as a first. Sylvia does curse a bit and makes a lot of jokes in this program, but i found it to be hilarious. Not extremelt informative, but worth the time to listen to.

Though the title can be misleading, it is great insight to the other side as well as listening to the Sylvia's perspective and stories. She touches on many serious issues as well as making light of them with her truly laugh out loud life experiences.

I love Sylvia's humor, however, the stories told in this are identical to those told in other audiobooks I've purchased by her. I had to make sure I didn't download the same book twice. I feel I wasted my money. There was absolutely nothing about what the title implies. Maybe I'll try yet another title, but for now I'll look for other authors.

The audio content was wonderful! Sylvia Browne's talk ministered to me, making me laugh and feel great. The only thing I would change is the title -- it didn't seem to match what I heard.

Entertaining, Thought Provoking, Easy Listening

The funny, witty and honest stories, Sylvia shares with her audience ,reguarding her first ex husband were insightful, witty and honest. Most divorced people could relate to where she is coming from.

We are living in Hell while we here! Home is actually up there along with our soul mate. Interestingly Sylvia tells us we don't travel to the earthly realm with our soul mate. We are separated when on earth as the mate stays behind ,at home.

I found Sylvia Browne to be a thoroughly entertaining, articulate speaker. When I started the book I was only going to listen for 10 minutes, to get the feel of the audio. I found myself 2 hours later still sitting in the same spot. I had listened to the complete audio in one sitting! If spirits,angels, guides & the after life are of fascination then this ones a definite for your collection.
