For Men Only: A Straightforward Guide to the Inner Lives of Women

I listened to about 10 minutes of this book and stopped. Yes, I realize it could be the best book ever and I wouldn't know but I think it's important for anyone planning on buying this book to know the authors have a Christian agenda. To quote the author:

"We believe that relationships are most fulfilling when both people have a common commitment to serving Jesus Christ." They also go on to say that the bible is the only dependable guide book for relationships.

Like I said, after this I put the book down but I felt that all potential readers should understand what they are getting themselves into, since it says nothing about that in the description. I have nothing against Christianity or any other religion, I just felt a little hoodwinked after I bought this book.

I had high expectations for this book. It is basically just a bunch of old cliches rephrased and repeated.

This book was very easy to listen to and kept my attention throughout. The content was right on. Although the authors have a Christian slant to their views, their ideology is not overwhelming or pushy. I want all my male friends to listen or read this book. Along with its companion book, For Women Only, I believe more than a few marriages can be saved.

Learn to think like a woman!

Love, love, love this book! MOST helpful!!

While generalizations will never capture a group perfectly, I felt like this book did an excellent job explaining how I feel as a woman. If anything, it should remind you that men and women think differently and are motivated by different things.

This book was recomended by a an In-Law who was concerned about te relationship my wife and I had. Admittedly, I/we have had some challenges... but the point of view of this book attempted to communicate that women are stupid , petty senselss creatures and as men, we should "see with them."

The author could not be more deceptive. This book is nothing but evangelical rapture-right propaganda. BEWARE because this fact is convieniently omitted from the description. If you subscribe to this point of view, you might enjoy the book, but if not, don't fall for the authors' deception.

Worse still, it says nothing profound about understanding women and offers only obvious, simplistic and often stereotype-based advice.

Whether you buy into the message, I do believe every man will get a very useful and helpful message.
