Kadi soon confides the rest of the story - a close tie with an assassinated foreign president and an item in her possession that makes both her and our sleuth moving targets for - someone. When Mrs. P puts in a call for help to her old CIA crony Carstairs, he's wrapped up in the kidnap of a wealthy financier. Before she knows it, what began as a dash for safety and a call for help expands into an assignment that leads to hair-trigger violence in exotic places.

"disappointing audio"
Love Mrs. Pollifax stories, but this audio rendition is terrible. I wish the narrator (who was just fine) could have read the book himself without the programmers inserting a hollow, unnatural woman's voice as Mrs. Pollifax.
"Mrs.Pollifax Goes Everywhere!"
Mrs. P's latest adventure is a kaleidiscope of adventures so out of the ordinary, they almost become a distraction-almost. Veryentertaining for a long drive.
"NOTE THE DIFFERENT NARRATOR!"
I was SOOO disappointed when I bought this! I am the type to ALWAYS listen first to the sample- except this one time. I love the Mrs Pollifax series with the narrator, Barbara Rosenblat. She is most amazing and has narrated most of the others. This just doesn't have the same magic. THIS audiobook has a mixed cast... and they're not very good(I am biased though), so DON'T buy it unless you LOVE the sample.
"Excellant"
Exciting story with an interesting
It surprised me at first, because most books I've listened to were single narrator, but it was good, added a new dimension..
Love all books by this author.
