"Good Story, Bad Narrator"
This is the second book in the series and I'm really enjoying the overall story. What I'm not enjoying is the bad narration and bizarre music between chapters. What a way to ruin an audiobook. The narrator makes absolutely no attempt to give different voices to her characters. You can't tell one character from another. On top of that....one minute she's screeching and the next she's painfully monotone. I think I can honestly say she's the worst narrator I've ever listened to. Luckily the story is really good, so if you can overlook the poor narration it's worth the credit. If narration really matters you should probably pass.

"disapointing...."
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?those who might not care all that much about the specific recording's sound quality
What was most disappointing about Amy Blankenship and R. K. Melton ’s story?the sound quality or lack there of in this recording made it tough to get past
the story jumped around from side plot to side plot soooooo much that it made it less enjoyable. I also wish there had been previous charcters' development again, I hadn't ever read any others in this series and really feel I missed out on understanding the subtle histories/tension/past chemistry etc with certain characters.
What didn’t you like about K. B. Stanford’s performance?her performance was fine, the writing could have been better though

"2nd rate production"
Would you try another book from Amy Blankenship and R. K. Melton and/or K. B. Stanford?I think I will pass.
Has Night Light turned you off from other books in this genre?NO! Never.
How did the narrator detract from the book?The quality of the production was poor (which is not the narrators fault), but I did NOT like the yelling and screaming. I had ear buds in and nearly ripped them out because of the volume. Learn to control the voice.
What character would you cut from Night Light?I don't know there was a lot going on in the book and I think some could have been used in a spin off book.
Any additional comments?In general, I found myself thinking this is a cross between a soap opera and a lifetime special. I say soap opera because a scene would stop and the author would move to a different scene with different characters...like a soap opera. That might work for TV but I had a hard time deciding who the main character was with so many plots going on. The reason I mentioned a lifetime special is the piano music inbetween the annoying scene changes. Sometimes the music didn't fit the mood/feel of the scene being left. Nothing like a climactic moment with a little 'feel good' jingle to kill the suspense.
