entertaining and clean. I could listen to this with my teenage kids in the car. I know a lot of people were complaining about the amount of time she spends describing coffee, but I enjoyed that and I am not really a coffee drinker.

The story and writing are getting better. This was actually enjoyable (save for one long gushing description of Soho, NY that went on for over 5 minutes!) The character development is good and the plot is passable. The execution of the mystery is still weak, but most of the points are good and enjoyable. I figured out who did it in the first third of the book. I can identify with the characters.

Narration is excellent and makes the story come alive.

I'd recommend this to those wanting a light listen. One free of suspenseful drama and one that you don't have to pay too much attention to.

Haven't read the print version, but I prefer audio books in general.

Personality of each character is made more real through the narrators voice.

It would be great to have the opportunity to listen to it in one sitting.

"Latte Trouble" is the third installment in the Clare Cosi Coffeehouse Mystery books. Like the others, this book fuses the mystery and romance genres together seamlessly. The main characters continue to be multifaceted. NYC provides the perfect setting for this, often crazy & eccentric, cast of characters. I've really enjoyed seeing the relationships between Clare and the other characters change over time. The exchanges between Clare, Quinn, & Matteo are electric.

I definitely recommend starting this series from the beginning, not because it's necessary to understanding the plot line, but because they're really good books and the narration is perfect. Also, as a coffee lover I actually found this book informative. The author(s) manage to give adequate descriptions of the various coffees, how they're made, and best consumed without making you feel like you're being hit over the head with information. And, I definitely recommend trying out some of the recipes given at the end of the book :)

Probably not for a while, however I would like to read the coffee house series

The main character, however her name escapes me. I enjoyed the part of her going undercover.

I never knew that much about coffee & all the flavors.

No, but it was an enjoyable book for a ride home from work.

I liked the narrator's voice. That's a HUGE determining factor of when I choose books- plus reading the ratings to see if the story interests me.

Just when you think you know who did it, the story takes you in a different direction. It made me want to figure it out before the end of the book, which I was happy to know that I had.

I listened on my drive to work and home in Los Angeles traffic, so I wanted to save it for then.

I did not realise that this book was part of a series and it makes me want to listen to the others.

I visit my favorite coffee house everyday. I enjoy trying to figure out "stories" about the people in the shop and this book expands on my imagination.

I started with this book and wish I would have started with the first book in the series. I was surprised by the ending. But a little annoyed by plot points that were started, but not finished in the book.

Ms. Gibel's performance was acceptable. I know others complained about her performance. I found it to be just fine.

No. However, I did want to come back to the book and read when time allowed.

As I mentioned above, there was a plot point involving the main character's daughter. It was not handled at all well and did not enhance the story at all. I found it to be a very serious situation, but the main character's attitude of "I hope her father talks to her about this", made me quite crazy. The main character was worried about everyone else when this should have become her main concern and should have been handled by both parents together. Very unhappy with this. It should have been edited out of the book or moved to the next book if it is going to be a concern in the next story. This is the reason I dropped my ratings to "3".

Nice little story, cute characters. It's a great listen to pass the time with. Great narrator too. I liked it very much!

Love the blending of coffee and fashion in this one. Also like learning a bit more about the coffee industry. Narration is great. Story line is sustaining and interesting.
Reading the entire series. Or, rather, I shoudl Listening to the entire series.
