Mona Cunningham doesn’t believe in marriage, but she doesn’t want to lose a good man, so she accepts William Lincoln’s proposal. But with dark secrets from her past hanging over her, each time the wedding date nears, Mona finds some reason to postpone.
William is increasingly frustrated. How many times can one woman reschedule a wedding? So when his first love, Katherine Clinton, e-mails him in hopes of reconnecting, William agrees to meet. Their reunion is so intense that now William is the one postponing the wedding so he can figure out a way to be with his true love. William devises a plan that will spare him having to hurt either woman. But when the scheme goes awry and the truth comes out, all three lives will be forever changed.

LIFE just happens that way sometimes!
"Disappointed"
This story dragged a lot and i was not impressed or intrigued to listen. The narrator did an excellent job but all in all this story line was horrible and I like Mary B Morrison but i wouldn't refer this book to any reader.
"Publisher's Review is WRONG!!!"
I bought this recording based on the review but the story line doesn't come close to it. However, the book was enjoyable and kept my attention. I was disappointed with the ending because it left too many issues unresolved. I can only hope that Ms. Morrison will continue this story in her next book.
"Mary what happened to you?"
I absolutley fell in love with the Jada Diamond series begining with Soulmates disapates. Was so excited to see audible had another Mary Morrison title. Mary's writting style has dramatically changed over the years and not for the better. There were so many times I said "That would never go down like that" in this book. It was all over the place and lacked depth. Just one crazy thing to the next. And Allyson Johnson as a narrator??? All female characters sounded like 3 year olds. And the men sounded gruff.
"this didnt feal like a MARY B MORRISON book."
I was disappointed in this book. It didnt feel like MARY B work. Also the person reading the book didnt fit with the characters. It makes all the difference when you are trying to give person with a country accent their "Country Accent".
i love her and will always try or buy her books to listen to or read.
yes. this one didnt fit for her.
"What a waste of time"
Everything! The storyline was entirely too long and boring!
No, not really, at least, not yet anyway
I can't find one redeeming quality about the performance nor the book.
None that I can think of
I was very disappointed in this book, to say the least! Mona & Catherine's attitude and psyche in the book was shameful and not very realistic. I mean who waits for a high-school love for 10 years after graduation? Especially one who never writes, calls, I mean he never even sent them a message by a carrier pidgon! Who does that!? If anything, this made them seem desperate; although Mona married, she still waited for Lincoln in her heart...& Catherine...Lawd! I'll leave the rest of my comment to myself. (let's just say that words cannot be shared on Audible) DO NOT WASTE YOUR CREDIT! TRUST ME!
"Good Listen"
It wasn't what I expected by reading the publisher summery I felt like I was listening to a different book, but it is a interesting story I would recommend this book. I just wish the summery was not so misleading it was somewhat right but I definitely expected a totally different story line.
"The Narrator Does Not Sound Realistic At All"
Horrible narration and the story seemed to be thrown together. Deadline to meet possibly? I've enjoyed other books by this author. Please stop using this narrator she does not understand the dialect well enough to even fake it.
Yes, I would.
Never Again Once More was narrated really well
No
Please, consider your character's background when choosing a narrator. When I see this one for certain books I just skip it. Allyson Johnson does not sound like she shares the background of the characters.
"NOT MBM BEST!"
Would not reecomment this book, but her others are AWESOME!
The narrator SUCKED!!!! Sorry, I'm jst saying. It made the book even worse for me.
no
"How dare they?"
The audio version needed to be narrated by an African American. It was suuferable to listen to a Caucasin
All of Mary B. Morrison books are great, that is unless they are made audio and narrated by a Caucasin.
ABSOLUTELY NOT. She is inappropriate for the type of book I am interested in.
Again, the book was great. I bought the hardcover and enjoyed it completely. The narration was insulting and inflammatory.
I get so excited sometimes about writing a review..good or bad...that sometimes I misspell words..lol..
"I REALLY HATED THIS READ!"
Its not worth the credit! Why do they have those sound effects? The only reason I finished is bc its a book club book. DO WASTE YOUR CREDIT!
