Unfinished Business is filled with shocking and emotional stories of Van Praagh's communication with loved ones who cross over the barrier between the living and the dead to send messages to those whom they have left behind.
Through these profound true stories, Van Praagh guides us on an adventure into the spirit world. The lessons for the living that he has learned from these experiences range from the dangers of emotional baggage caused by guilt, fear, and regret to the importance of karma, forgiveness, and taking responsibility for our actions. Van Praagh shares with us now the wisdom that, without him, we would only gain after death.

"Excellent book, awesome narrator!"
I was a little hesitant, at first, to buy this book, only because Mr. Van Praagh isn't the narrator, as he is for his other two (also excellent) books. However, after maybe a page or two, I all but forgot that the narrator's voice wasn't James's, since the words are his, and the narrator does an awesome job. The stories James tells about the readings he has had with people offer some very important life lessons that everyone could benefit from. This book has given me a different perspective on life and on my role in it. I highly recommend this book!
"Not a bad listen at all."
Pretty entertaining but not as good as James Van Praaghs earlier book Ghosts Amoung Us.
"Excellent !!!"
I have both versions: Print and Audio: Print excellent to revisit details. Audio suits my lifestyle better as a company through daily traveling times...
the very first story...just a beginning of many others to learn from
Excellent !!!
to be best we could be: love - sharing - forgivness, seeing higher picture - happiness from simple pleasures of life - Key to Eternal Love, Happiness and Peace...
would recommend to everyone who is open minded and willing to improve for the better...
"Love is All You Need"
I must say, I was skeptical, but I really enjoyed this book. Van Praagh writes a combination of stories from his encounters with spirits and they people to whom they are communicating, and the insights he has gleaned from these encounters over the years. His words are positive, uplifting, and very, very hopeful. He doesn't just provide assurances of eternity, he illustrates the power of love and forgiveness in a powerful and memorable way.

"Another great book"
Talking to Heaven (by James) was the first book I read about the other side.. That was in the 90's and since then I've read and listened to many of his books, including this one. It's narrated by someone other than James, but still a very good listen.. His books never disappoint.
Fascinating stories of his communication with the other side.
"interesting read"
If you like Van Praagh's work, you will love this book. He incorporates life lessons and tips for spiritual growth into his usual readings with the other side. Through this book, he has made a great attempt at putting the puzzle of life, death and why things happen together in a system that makes sense (to me).
"Great listen!"
Loved this book! It sends a good message to all of us that there is more to life and afterlife. Highly recommended! I hope he comes out with more books soon, they are a great listen.
"Truly fascinating and can change your view of life"
This is the first book i've read/listen to by James Van Praagh, but it won't be the last. I've ready a lot of books about past lives and reincarnation, and this is the best one so far. He relates very compelling stories of real-life accounts, but he always weaves in a "life lesson," but does so in a way that is overly cheezy and smaltzy. I'm making everyone in my family listen to it, and I'm going to listen to many others by him.
"Another thought-provoking great read!"
Very thought-provoking, made me think of the experience in the after-life in a whole new way.
Enjoyed the hearing the personal experiences of both those living and the spirits who have passed.
Very good performance. Marc actually sounds a lot like James, so I could imagine James speaking as I was listening.
This book made me feel very peaceful and comfortable about where my loved ones who passed over are and what they are experiencing. It also made me feel more at peace about end of life in general.

"love, love , love"
It was Ok as far as the topic goes. My take away: there's more love on the other side. Meditate while your spirit is still inside your body. Some people go to readings who are skeptics. No surprises here. Van Praagh did a good job of reading-nice voice.
