"It's time to start comparing Christie to Marsh instead of the other way around." (New York magazine)
Love having someone read me a story. Fires in the hearth, rain on the roof, sunny days and surf. Good friends, good food and J S Bach.
"Not all myths are feel good, happy ever after"
Ngaio Marsh at a creative (and creepy) best. This is a tale that lingers in my memory. Downloaded years ago and listened to a few times.
Not sure when it was written, possibly late 1940's, given references to the War.
This follows a woman who is wanting to record old customs and mythology in Britain.
If you do like Ngaio Marsh, this is a little different and reveals just how wide ranging were her interests. I for one am sorry there are not more like this.
