"Plot sounded good but it actually sounded bad"
This could be the start of whole new series based around the good v dark Angels because there were quite a few Angels mentioned but I would only be more interested if they were narrated by a different person as GSC ruined the listen. She had a voice suited to the YA genre rather than adult fiction and for this reason I just couldn't treat it as a 'grown up' book even tho there were some sex scenes.
It was a pleasant enough listen but it was also one where you're constantly thinking "stupid move, stupid woman, stupid Angel, stupid stupid stupid" !! I just couldn't empathise with Abby and felt the characters were teenagers with phrases like "did you two bump uglies?" so for these reasons it just wasn't a book I could fall in love with either the characters or the plot.
Worth a credit? Debatable -yes it was a paranormal romance with tension and some love scenes but I just wasn't that emotionally committed to care - so it's a put it in your Wish List and wait for a sale book rather than a credit (change the narrator and all may have been different).6 of 6 people found this review helpful
