Susannah finally has a peaceful, calm life and a no-surprises man. Marriage to football superstar Ryan Sanderson was a whirlwind of passion, heat, energy, and excitement, but Susannah got sick of playing second fiddle to his team, watching women throwing themselves at him, and living in terror of the hard hits he took on the field. With their divorce just days from being final, she's already planning a wedding with her new fiance.... Ryan has just ten days to convince his soon-to-be ex-wife to give him a second chance. He has just brought home his third championship and his career is at its pinnacle, but during the year of their separation, Ryan's come to realize it doesn't mean anything at all without Susannah....

"Pretty good."
The story was pretty good and I thought the narrator did a good job. My only issue is that the voice used for Ryan didn't really match the guy on the cover. He sounded a little dorky. Sorry.
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
"Ummm Horrible Narration"
I think I might have actually like the story if the ultra thick country accent of the hubby wasn't so bad. Texans don't talk like that!
Love books, preferably romance and suspense. Typically read/listen to 3-5 a week.
"Decent"
I am new to books by Marie Force I got this one on a whim. The content was good, the narration was lacking. The voice of Ryan, in my opinion was terrible. He was a football celebrity, hunky, smart, and good looking a (jock), the voice made him sound like a jerk. His character was much more than what the narrator gave him. He did some of the other characters fairly well, that is what saved the book. Ryan was all wrong.
The story held its own, otherwise the narration would have been hard to deal with. The story made you want to know how it would end up therefore, you will get through the weird voice of Ryan. This was a nicely develop romance with a few twist and turns to make it interesting. It was a nice listen. Of course it was not a book that you simply could not figure it out, but it was a nice calm listen. A little sex, humor, and drama.
"Great Sports Romance!"
Sexy and fun! Worth the credit. This will definitely be added to my favorites list.
"Football, sexy cowboy and sizzle!"
Love, loss, betrayal
Henry, so fun to see that he gets what he deserves in the end.
Love Tanya Eby and she does them all well. My favorite is Susie though.
Definitely!
