Media consultant Veronica St. John has been hired to teach a rugged Navy SEAL to impersonate a European prince who's been targeted by terrorists. But one conversation and Veronica knows there's no way she can turn streetwise New Yorker Joe Catalanotto into nobility. Joe, on the other hand, is confident he's got what it takes. Two days isn't a lot of time to get the job done...but it's enough time to fall in love.

“Ms. Brockmann is a one-of-a-kind storyteller!” (Romantic Times)
"Earlier Work - Still Worth the "Read""
I fell in love with Brockmann's Best Selling Troubleshooters, and when i found this series I figured it was where she 'cut her teeth' - setting her up for the success of the Troubleshooters.
It would appear that my presumptions were correct - but that did not detract from the enjoyment of the story for me!
I find the trip, not the destination, the most appealing in my stories. Yes, I could kinda predict where the story was going - but Brockmann made the trip interesting and fun.
And is that not the objective behind urban romance - fantasy - fiction stories? To be interesting and fun? Brockmann did both in this story, and i'm hoping Audible takes on the rest in this series!!!
"Loved this story!"
This is the first book I've listened to by Suzanne Brockmann and I can't wait to listen to &/or read more of her stories!
I've listened to several audiobooks & this one is now at the top of my list of favorites! The narration is one of the things I consider when rating the audioibooks I listen to & this is a perfect example of how a well done naration (or in this case performance) truly enhances the story. Ashley Adlon is now one of my favorite narators (along with Savannah Richardson, Natalie Ross, Joyce Bean, and Renee Raudman, Sanda Burr and James Daniels).
This is a story you will honestly get lost in & while I usually only listen to audioooks in the car this one was so good I listened to it everywhere & anywhere since I just couldn't put it down!
"Prince Joe"
Great book. One of the best of Suzanne Brockmann's seal novels. It would be wonderful to get all the 11 in this series on audio.
"Pretty good read."
I thought this book had a good plot and developed the characters well. What I couldn't believe, is that for such intelligent people, they made the dumbest conclusions. It's a bits racy in sections, but overall I liked the book. It is definitely worth reading or listening to.
I just Love the Allure of a Great Romance...a Pair of Rose Colored Glasses...some Fine Wine, and a Subscription to Audible...
"Love, Love, Love Prince Joe"
This is the first book by Suzanne Brockmann that I have listened to and it was well worth the credit. All the makings of a present day fairytale. I have now begun the second book in this series and am enjoying it as well. How timely to enjoy a romantic, and thrilling
story about one of our Nation's finest...A NAVY SEAL...
The narrator, Ashley Adlon is one of the best that I have had the pleasure to hear. (and I have listened to over 200)! She does an amazing job with male and female voices and her accents are very believable.
I know that you will enjoy it too!
"Light Fun Romantic"
This is a light and entertaining romantic adventure with nice people who do as you would expect. It was fun to listen to. It had a feel good happy ending. I enjoyed it for exactly what it was supposed to be: entertainment with nothing distressing.
"Goose bumps!"
This is a well written quick read.. I sometimes get frustrated with the 'chase' of the main characters when it is drawn out forever. I can't say that about this book. I like how the character's stay true to themselves and find love based on who they are inside! Then add the excitement of the Navy Seals ( Navy Mom here, so I am a little bias, lol). A fun book!
"Love this series"
Great book. I loved reading the Tall Dark and Dangerous series years ago. The narrator does a great job with the characters of seal team 10.
"Not new"
I would like a highly visable original copyright date noted with each "info" on books. This is an older book reissued. Get frustrated that I need to do so much research before a purchase to know if it is a new or OLD book. Good and simple, interesting to see the progression on the author from this book to her troubleshooters series.
"Cute and Fun!"
Nope.
It was a typical romance based adventure. If you looking for some heavy revelations this is not the book for you. If you are looking for cute untamable man gets tamed kinda book... here ya go.
I have not. Narration was cute and light... pairing with the book well.
No, but I would totally watch the Lifetime movie on my couch as to further traumatize my boyfriend.
This is great... for what it is. If you are looking for a fun, romantic, light read ... This is your book. If you are looking for substance and huge plot revelations... keep looking.
