Publisher's Summary

Drizzt returns to Luskan, and the Realms will never be the same!

The Arcane Brotherhood has long held the city of Luskan in their power, but when corruption eats away at their ranks, Captain Deudermont comes to the rescue of a city that has become a safe haven for the Sword Coast's most dangerous pirates. But rescuing a city from itself may not be as easy as Deudermont thinks, and when Drizzt can't talk him out of it, he'll be forced to help.

Drizzt is back in action again, and bringing more changes to the Forgotten Realms setting. This all new adventure will keep Drizzt fans guessing the whole way, with edge-of-your-seat action and plot twists that even the most casual reader of the Forgotten Realms novel line can't afford to miss!

Don't forget to listen to more adventures of the Forgotten Realms.

Where does The Pirate King rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Top 10%.

What did you like best about this story?

Good writing coupled with good narration equals good listening experience.

What does Mark Bramhall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has a great voice and his characterization brings depth to an already good story.

    Any additional comments?

First audiobook with this narrator was a good experience. Would listen to more of his work.

    "D &b D & PIRATES! Dig it!"
Would you listen to The Pirate King again? Why?

    Yes, I have...and I do... cause it's a good tale.

What other book might you compare The Pirate King to and why?

Orc King. On Stranger Tides (best Pirate book written !)

Have you listened to any of Mark Bramhall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    darned good!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was excited, and impressed by the suspense, action, and detail.

    Any additional comments?

    R. A. Salvatore is a very good writer. He does make me mad, because he makes me care for his characters so much I hate it when they get into bad situations...but there would be no story unless something bad happened...
