Audible has changed my life! Dry , itchy eyes were destroying one of my greatest pleasures - reading. Now I am experiencing books again!
"Holmes to the Rescue!"
Through a lot of road trips and sleepless nights, Sherlock Holmes has been a wonderful companion to the members of my family. As interpreted by the brilliant Derek Jacobi, "The Return of Sherlock Holmes" in audio form seems fresh and new. You just can't beat this for sheer joyful escapism!
"Wonderful!"
I loved the way it was read. It was great.
The story was classic Sherlock Holmes. Wonderful as usual.
My favorite story was "The Adventure of the Golden Pince-Nez" because of it's dramatic ending.
I love this book because you can listen to it in bits and pieces not necessarily all at once.
"Jacobi makes my day"
Jacobi's voice and characterizations. Plus Holmes. I love Holmes.
Oh, no one moment sticks out. I've loved these stories for decades.
Yes. They are all excellent.
Nothing extreme.
