Denver journalist Natalie Benoit and Deputy U.S. Marshal Zach McBride find themselves captives of a bloodthirsty Mexican drug cartel. Working together, they escape through the desert toward the border, the attraction between them flaring hotter than the Sonoran sun. They fight to stay ahead of the danger that hunts them as forces more powerful than they can imagine conspire to destroy them both....

"Complex characterizations and a fast-paced plot filled with sensual romance and mystery make this a highly enjoyable... for newcomers and series fans alike." (Publishers Weekly)
Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.........
"O-M-G........."
Many times when there is a series that you fall in love with at the first book, you don't expect them to keep the momentum. As listening to them (FABULOUS NARRATOR), I considered Book 3 as being my favorite!!!!! UNTIL THIS ONE!!! Holy Baby Jesus Miss Clare.......bravo on this book! I was gripped from the beginning and sleep deprived until the end!
I felt all the emotions which was from the clever writing and the delivery of the narrator. Passion, anxiety, heartache, fear and love; I cried and laughed!!
Can I just say May 2013 is TOOOOOOOOOO long for the next!!
"Best in the I-Team Series"
Captivating story with credible backdrop of journalist and U.S. law enforcement investigating Mexican drug cartels, human trafficking, etc. Reintroduces characters from prior books in the series, but could be read as stand-alone. Narrator great with male voices but not so with female voices. Romance is tender; sex is hot; friendships touching; violence a bit graphic at times. Recommend you read the whole series, but if you decide to read just one--pick this one.
"MORE....MORE....MORE!!!!!"
More of these books please...as fast as you can!!! Oh, and please the same narrator!!!! Makes a big difference.
Audible addicted love mystery, lately stuck on love story. Mother of 1 Labrador and 1 perfect man. Work way too hard, and so ready to be retired

"I didn't love it."
I read the reviews of others and decided to purchase this book. This is the first one I have purchased by this author. It wasn't bad and I didn't hate it but it was very unexciting. I guess I have just read/listened to better. I didn't like the male narrator's voice of female characters and by the end I was glad it was over. It was very typical, boy meets girl, both have emotional baggage and can't or think they can't make it together even though they think they love each other. They leave each other and get back together in the end...happy ending. Don't get me wrong, lots of people get killed and there is a lot of action and adventure (most of impossible except for in your imagination) andit is interesting but not as good as I expected based on the reviews.
"Outstanding Stories"
I love the whole series. I too can't wait for the next book.
I have listen to all the books and they all are just wonderful. Each story is great so I don't have a favorite. In one year I will listen to them all again.
All
Laugh yes, Cry some what
I want to tell everyone about this writer she almost as good as Nora Roberts. One more thing, Please don't let anyone else Narrate these book but Kaleo Griffieth, he as good as the writer. I love these books. want more!!!
"WOW what a ride"
I absolutely loved this story from the I team series. For me this was my favorite. The ride that Natalie and Zach take us on just seems to be non-stop. You find yourself holding on through the intense escape from the cartel to the multiple attempts on their lives. This is one I book that I didn’t put down until it ended. You will laugh cry and just fall in love with their story. A good book and definitely worth the credit.
Love Romantic Erotica with a twist , thrill, suspense and a great story !
"THE BEST BOOK!!! WOW !!! AWESOME WRITING!"
I can not say enough or describe the way I feel about this book. This is the best erotic romance I have read, and the narrator is awesome! I have grown to love him too !! He does fabulous! This book kept me on the edge, gripping the steering wheel, laughing , commenting out loud and at the end my heart was beating so fast during the last few chapters. The first book I've ever actually cried, and not in one spot , but several, of course could be PMS....LOL! But truely awesome writing and narration. This series has left me loving each book even more. I really don't want them to end at all !!~
Well worth the price or a credit ....but definitely read the whole series in order.
Pamela Clare ...you are spectacular !!
"A great read"
Yes I would recommend this audiobook. Kaleo Griffen gives a great naration to this book.
I love all the characters, I don't know if I could pick a favorite.
Kaleo Griffith gives each character in the book a different persona, I love each one.
I had read Breaking Point and had listened to the other audio additons to Pamela Clare's I-Team series. Kaleo does an awesome job bringing the characters to life adding more drama to the suspence and romance in the story.
"Narrator is excellent"
As any longtime lover of audiobooks will tell you, a bad narrator can ruin a good book, and a great narrator can make any book seem fantastic. Happy to report, Mr. Griffith is one of the best I've ever encountered. (And I have listened to a LOT of audiobooks in my day.)
I must admit, I was surprised at first when he reads the women's lines in a female voice. (The falsetto made me giggle a little, especially when he does southern accents) but I got used to it in, oh, approximately five minutes, and after that, found myself wondering why all romance audiobooks don't have a male reader! It really adds something to the story.
I highly recommend this book and the narrator. Here's hoping the next one comes out soon.
