Publisher's Summary

When Desdemona Wainwright tries to collect a much-needed payment for catering Sam Stark's canceled wedding reception, she encounters, not a heartbroken suitor, but the steel-willed head of a multimillion-dollar consulting firm with the cold brain of a computer - and the finely hewn body of a medieval knight. Sam sees a beautiful, theatrical hoyden with huge turquoise eyes who has the right professional catering skills he needs for his business. Opposites attract, and before long, he's sure he's found the perfect business wife. But Desdemona intends to break down the walls around his heart.

When someone tries to steal his top-secret computer program, suspisions center on the people Desdemona holds most dear. As sinister intrigues swirl around them all, this unlikely pair discover that their love and even their lives may depend on emotions and bonds that can't be measured - like unstoppable passion and unbreakable trust.

Filled with fabulous fun, tingling suspense, and a wonderful new love story, Trust Me is great entertainment.

Would you listen to Trust Me again? Why?

I would as it made me laugh. Romantic comedy is one of my favorites.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Trust Me?

Walking in on an intruder with your date while the intruder attacks carrying the sex toys gifted to you by your cousin.

Have you listened to any of Richard Ferrone’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No... He did pretty well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    I laughed constantly.

I am a fan of JAK so this was an automatic download for me and I wasn't looking for Shakespeare - it is what it is. It was an easy-going, enjoyable, funny, lighthearted romance that I enjoyed listening to and if you're looking for that type of book then this is for you.

Worth a credit? I love her work so it's a Yes from me.

Would you listen to Trust Me again? Why?

no even though the story was good the reader's voice just didn't quite fit the characters in my opinion.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Stark, he keeps you thinking about his characters personality.

What three words best describe Richard Ferrone’s voice?

    older, clear, dry

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no but a chuckle now and then.

    Any additional comments?

A good story but the reader's voices did not quite fit some of the character's. They all seemed old when they were not.

    "Took Me A While..."

I generally prefer female narrators for romance stories so it took me a bit to adjust to the narrator. Males don't usually do a good job with female voices, but once I got into the story, none of that mattered. It character had a clearly defined voice, a plus. I love Jayne Ann Krentz books so it would take a really horrible narrator to ruin the experience.

    "Substandard!"
Would you try another book from Jayne Ann Krentz and/or Richard Ferrone?

I didn't realize this was a revival of a 1986 book. I agree with other reviewer...don't waste a credit on it. There was NO C"HEMISTRY between the hero and heroine. It was just lame. This is one of those plot books where no effort was made to convince the reader to buy into the premise. The author is just cranking out another book because it's required. I like Jayne Krentz, I'll just be more careful of what I buy!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None. A waste of a credit!

Would you try another book from Jayne Ann Krentz and/or Richard Ferrone?

This was only the 4th book I have read by JA Krentz, others were good this one bored me to tears. Narration was sleep inducing!

Would you be willing to try another one of Richard Ferrone’s performances?

    No
