Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?No, but it did make me more aware of what areas of aesthetics are interesting to me and give me ideas of what i would like to look into more.
Any additional comments?As an art student, I found this a very helpful introduction on the topic of aesthetics. It covers a broad range of artistic practices, painting, literature , film etc from both western and Asian context. Best of all it isn't full of the jargon and long incomprehensible words that has kept me from reading art literature in the past.
