I used to read (in print) 2 or 3 books at the same time, switching one to the other, depending on mood. But there are medications for that now, LOL.

"You like sports and romance?"
I really enjoyed this story. I liked the characters, liked the plot, and I liked the setting. I like reading romances with sports. And this author actually bothered to describe the sport. You know what I didn't like? It's the 3rd in a series, but the first 2 weren't available!

"GREAT"
I wasn't sure i was going to like this book but as it got into it. I couldn't stop listening to it. It was great. The only thing that I don't like is that this was BOOK 3 of the series and the other 2 are not in audible format. That's a real bummer.

"ENJOYABLE YES BUT SOOOO FRUSTRATING TOO"
I've listened out of order but I really don't think it matters much but I just couldn't resist the cover (how sad am I?) alright I liked the sound of the story too.
This is one of those books that I enjoyed yes - but didn't love - due entirely to the female character's personality - "I don't, I won't, I'm not going to, I want more, I'm not looking, I'll choose it myself etc etc etc" you get the picture. IF she had been blessed with a more pleasant character then I could have thoroughly shared in the romance and passion not just the very hot, explicit love scenes. There was a tender romantic love scene at the end but it was a little too late for redemption.
Worth a credit? Yes, if you can see past her PMS attitude and I will download another as I am enjoying the whole ice hockey scene, which is a brand new theme for me.4 of 4 people found this review helpful -

"Falling in love or lust?"
The cover convinced me to get this book, yep, watching that HOT male body while listening to a contemporary romance story was exactly what I wanted. And although the story was ok I did not love it. The heroine was annoying and her constant whining got to me. The overall plot of this story was underwhelming and I did not believe the romance. The couple had lots of hot sex but I did not see the love developing... The narrator was ok too. Did not add much emotion to the story, but then again, it was not that emotional anyway... I guess I was expecting a hot sports and romance story like the one from Rachel Gibson but this one was all about sex...

Where does Taking a Shot rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?It ranks a 5 star an if there was a higher rank i would give one

"must love hockey"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?oh, yes,
What did you like best about this story?different spin on erotic love story. This is hot and maybe the best of the 3 stories. Listening to #2 soon
Would you be willing to try another one of Lucy Malone’s performances?the author's works will determine the buy. Julie James, Karen White took me over after 2 difference stories, but there were so much humor in the stories, to be fair. So I can only hope Ms Malone will do the same.

"So happy for Jenna!!"
Who was your favorite character and why?Ty, by far!! He knew exactly what Jenna wanted and needed, and made sure she got it all. Ty knew what he wanted, but knew he couldn't push too fast so he sat back and let things happen to Jenna so she would figure out what she really wanted on her own.
