The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked, and the packages are wrapped, but the biggest celebration this Christmas is Gaby Summerhill's wedding. Since her husband died three years ago, Gaby's four children have drifted apart, each consumed by the turbulence of their own lives. They haven't celebrated Christmas together since their father's death, but when Gaby announces that she's getting married - and that the groom will remain a secret until the wedding day - she may finally be able to bring them home for the holidays. But the wedding isn't Gaby's only surprise - she has one more gift for her children, and it could change all their lives forever.
With deeply affecting characters and the emotional twists of a James Patterson thriller, The Christmas Wedding is a fresh look at family and the magic of the season.

"A solid, good book"
I would recommend this story because it provides an unique view inside a family and their unique celebration of Christmas and looking forward.
The ending was very satisfying.
I thought that the narrator was excellent. She captured the tone of the book and its characters.
If this book were a movie, I wouldn't go to see it because I generally prefer more folksy stories. However, this was an excellent story.
This book had interesting characters, a plot that I couldn't predict, and a big event that made Christmas special for the family. It was a different kind of Christmas story and I'm really glad that I read it.
"Danielle Steele"
This book was more like a Danielle Steele book than a book by James Patterson. I was very disappointed in it.

"A so so Christmas Wedding"
I was very disappointed by this book. I thought that a book by James Patterson would have been far more superior. The plot was predictable and mediocre at best. The main character was self serving and self centered, very hard to relate with. I will say the narrators did a great job because they kept the story going.
"Wonderful Enjoyable"
I really enjoyed the story it was heart warming. I loved how it brought a family members that were going there own ways and in the end came together. I enjoyed it so much that I was sorry it had to end.
"Not your normal James Patterson"
It caught my wife and I from the first chapter and kept us listening and involved. It was a romance but it kept you guessing until the end.
"Heartwarming"
This was a warm, kind of quirky, heartwarming book. Great trying to figure out who the groom is going to be.
"The Christmas Wedding"
It was nice to read a book and not have to worry about someone getting murdered, yet it was still what I would call a mystery. The book was most enjoyable and had a delightful, surprising ending. My only complaint is the same one I have for all audiobooks. I wish women would read women's voices and men would read men's voices. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this book. Could the author be the same James Patterson whose scary mystery books I refuse to read? Nah, must be another James Patterson.
"NOT WORTH USING CREDITS OR BUYING"
TERRIBLE, TERRRIBLE, TERRIBLE, SORRY I WASTED A CREDIT ON THIS BOOK.
SHOULD OF WAITED UNTIL OTHERS REVIEWED BEFORE I PICKED THIS UP.
NOT ONE OF JAMES PATTERSON BEST. ONLY REASON IT GOT 1 STAR WAS BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T LET ME PROCEED WITHOUT GIVING IT 1 STAR, OTHERWISE IT GETS NO STARS FROM ME.
"A Mothers Point of View"
I loved that the mother was the one getting married and not telling her children who the groom was,she kept the reader guessing as well, funny, thought provoking, and pretty much finding a way to help her children as well as herself.
All of the characters were so involved in the story line couldn't pick just one.
the characters were all done so well,no one sounded like the others, very distinctive voices for each one,I loved that!
Absolutely, couldn't wait to get back to it.
Just an all around good listening book!
"A feel good read"
It is right up there. I like many types of books. This one is a great to just sit back and enjoy with a cup of tea.
When she finally decided who the groom was going to be.
They all were my favorite. The book would not have been as good if even one character was left out
none. Again I feel that the story needed all characters.
