New York Times bestselling author Ellen Hopkins makes her Simon & Schuster Audio debut with the young adult novel, Perfect.
Everyone has something, someone, somewhere else that they’d rather be. For four high-school seniors, their goals of perfection are just as different as the paths they take to get there.
Cara’s parents’ unrealistic expectations have already sent her twin brother spiraling toward suicide. For her, “perfect” means rejecting their ideals to take a chance on a new kind of love. Kendra covets the perfect face and body - no matter what surgeries and drugs she needs to get there. Sean will sacrifice more than he can ever win back in order to score his perfect home run - on the field and off. And Andre realizes that to follow his heart and achieve his perfect performance, he’ll be living a life his ancestors would never understand.
A riveting and startling companion to the best-selling Impulse, Ellen Hopkins’s Perfect exposes the harsh truths about what it takes to grow up - and grow into our own selves. Because everyone wants to be perfect, but when perfection loses its meaning, how far will you go?

"Ehh... it wasn't the best"
I'd get rid of the music before the book starts and get someone with more personality to read it.
Ellen hopkins is still my favorite but not too crazy about other asset
"Not Great"
I am familiar with Ellen Hopkins writing style as I have read Crank, Glass and Impulse. So, I thought this book would have been equally enjoyable. I found it difficult on audio specifically because there are multiple characters with all different narrators....this style of writing is like a diary and so it cuts from one person to the next to the next and you have to go through like 5 different stories all at the same time. It was definately challenging to keep up. Also, I felt the story was quite boring; felt like same stuff going on forever.
"Excellent all the way around"
The narrators were awesome, not an annoying voice in the bunch, which can really kill the good book experience. The story and it's characters were totally engaging. Bought several more books by this author.
"Great book"
Once you learn the characters you want to keep reading. Will continue reading Ellen Hopkins books!
