With Melkior dying in prison, a sixth, apparently identical murder gives Homer the perfect chance to prove his case. Martin Pendred is arrested but released on a technicality after the intervention of his solicitor, Helena Flemming. Then Martin disappears and another murder takes place. Former pathologist John Eisenmenger worked on the original murders, and his finely honed skills could make all the difference to this nerve-wracking case.

"What a Treat!"
Oh Keith! Where have you been all my life!? I adore your writing, I adore ALL your characters, I adore everything about your books. They are smart, funny and have the twistiest plots I've ever heard of.
Marry me and I will give up all my affairs, including but not limited to Capt Von Trapp, Raylan Givens, Jamie Frasier, Walt Longmire and that Sam guy) Okay, if it too soon for that, just let me watch your eyes glitter as you compose your stories. I even want to read the out-takes. I'll bet you can make a grocery list dazzle.
"Fabulous"
Kieth's done it again! Gripping story and narrated by the brillian Sean Barrett makes for great listening. Kieths books should be listened to in sequence so that you don't hear what happened in a previous book that you haven't listened to yet. Google to find out when each book was released
"Great tight writing; excellent narration"
I am now on my 5th Keith McCarthy novel in this "mystery" series. He is truly a wonderful writer - witty, concise, and compelling. The reader, Sean Barrett, is completely convincing as every character he reads!
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the endings of McCarthy's novels tend to be wrapped up too quickly, and come to a final head a bit too quickly.
Even with this, though, I love these books!
“I love all genres of books, however when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
"Excellent book"
Excellent well written captivating kept me on the edge of my seat. One of the best forensic murder mistery I have listened too. Highly recommend
