I loved this book. The tips are simple, yet relevant, doable, and sensible. Jon Gordon as the narrator works, he has an uplifted, energetic, enthusiastic delivery that fits with the book without going over the top.

"What a waste of time"
What disappointed you about The Energy Bus?Nothing new. A collection of worn out advice; "you need vision, focus, enthusiasm, purpose and love! plus few other trite advice. It's as though we have all been waiting for the author to tell us that to succeed you need enthusiasm! like there is a switch that you can just flick on!
Why anyone need to write a whole book when a small article would be an overkill is beyond me. Save your money and 3 hours of pointless listening.

"The Energy Bus"
Really enjoyed this book. The principles and story are simple and maybe some you have heard before, but I still think they are powerful. They have been put together in a fun and engaging fable. Also, I found the issues addressed rang true to real work situations.

Every struggle, every challenge, every adversity brings you closer to your heart. To your true self, to who you really are..Sometimes you have to broken down to point you feel powerless, to discover your ultimate and true power.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from The Energy Bus?Not worrying about the folks that don't want to get on my bus and removing the "energy vampires" from my bus.
Any additional comments?I enjoyed the book and it was inspirational in the simplistic approach. And yes, the subject matter has been written about but always good to refresh your attitude, get inspired and stay positive.

"Cute But Practical Parable"
Where does The Energy Bus rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?This is a good audio book in this self-improvement and leadership category. It is part pep talk and in part a story told to illustrate some positive leadership principles.
Who was your favorite character and why?Joy, the driver of the energy bus, had both wisdom and grace, as she helped our protagonist turn into a CEO (Chief Energy Officer).
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?I liked the rule of understanding your mission and communicating it to others.

"Corny but Cool - Lots of good information"
What other book might you compare The Energy Bus to and why?The one minute manager, Who moved my cheese - It's a set of simple lessons wrapped in a story
Any additional comments?If you have trouble with corny story based metaphors, you might not like this book. That said, it's a story that many can relate to. I'm sure everyone knows someone in this kind of position, maybe even is in the situation. There are a lot of good lessons in this short listen.
