"Leaders will want their employees to read this"
This book has some great material within. I have read a number of books about leadership over the past couple of years, and I believe this one to have a lot of the important material from each placed into one book. In addition, this book gives good tips on how to work with other ambitious people and still succeed, as well as how to really help your superiors in a way that helps you and your organization. This book is great for anyone who wants to succeed as a professional
"Fantastic Read"
This book applies to everyone because it addresses how to lead people from above, below, and next to you. It's a very holistic approach to managing people like your boss, your co-workers, and your underlings. Read it and you'll be more effective.
"360 Degrees . . . 100% Effective"
The more I listen to this packed-full-of-soon-to-be-classic I realize that Dr. Maxwell's teachings apply and will help in every aspect of my life. It is only up to me to follow his guidance. Thanks, Doctor.

"Every middle manager's must-read"
This is an excellent work and needs to be must reading for every middle manager that wants to succeed. Also excellent for front line staff that have views of getting into management.
"Are you Kidding?"
This is the best of John Maxwell! The best leadership book in 10 Years. Very well read. Must buy for any serious leader.
"Interesting ..... for followers instead of leaders"
yes, if he is aim is to become a team leader or middle manager and like to rub shoulders with superiors.
I will be interesting to have a follow up at exec. level.
"Excellent positioning from Mailroom to Boardroom"
Well organized lesson on personal abillity/responsibility when working in any type of organization. More a value system with tools than a functional instruction.
"Informative, easy to follow"
Yes. It is packed with useful information that helps people become leaders. It is easy to understand and easy to follow.
The chapter on learning how to lead across to your peers was the most useful. So often we think that leading is giving orders to others. This chapter was very insightful into how to influence your peers and thus lead them without it feeling that way.
If you are looking for a book on what it takes to become a leader, this is it!
"Great overall book..."
This book really makes you think! It makes you consider your place in the working world and how much little things can help to make big changes.
