Gemma and Alice, born on the same day and in the same hospital, have been devoted friends all their lives. They see each other everyday, and despite their different interests and personalities, they are inseparable. They're not one bit alike: Gemma loves football while Alice prefers drawing; and Gemma never stops talking while Alice is more likely to be listening; but somehow these little things never seem to affect their relationship. As best friends, they share absolutely everything. Then one day Gemma peeks into Alice's diary, and finds out there's something that Alice isn't sharing. And when Gemma finally discovers what it is, she isn't sure if she and Alice can stay Best Friends For Ever.
