"An Incredible human being"
I have always heard about the "Underground Railroad" but never really took the time to understand it's history. This book is every good place to start. There should be a "Harriet Tubman" Day. She was as important to the freeing the slaves and the civil rights movement as Lincoln and Martin Luther King, I researched in hopes to find a movie about her. I could not find any. Harriet story would make a WONDERFUL movie. If done correctly it could walk away with all the Oscars. This is a must read book! The performance of the book was good, but as with most of the Audible books, I had tp change the speed to 1 1/2x from 1x

"Love love loved this audiobook!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?Yes I would recommend this book because Harriet has such an amazing story I think it should be shared with everyone!
Who was your favorite character and why?Harriet of course was my favorite character because she's such an compassionate brave woman who defied all odds to serve her purpose.
What does Peter Francis James bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?An in depth look into Harriet's life, feelings and emotions.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes! After I listened to it for the first time I started it all over again! For a total of 3 listens in 2 days!

"IMPORTANT HISORICALLY"
Where does Harriet Tubman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?For knowledge and information Harriet Tubman ranks in the top 10%.
What did you like best about this story?It helped me view things from a different perspective. Being a white man I don't really consider race at all. I have friends and neighbors who are black but learning about slavery from the perspective of Harriet Tubman helps me empathize with her. I truly gained an affinity for this truly great woman who I believe was guided by God to do what she did.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?I was very interested to learn that she fell asleep without any apparent reason other than the injury she'd suffered. This must have been an incredibly dagerous experience and heightened the danger she was placed in.
