In this magical story from the ever-popular Treebob series, Rotten Rena, the wicked witch of the enchanted forest, comes up with yet another mad scheme involving one of her very own magical potions. Of course since Rotten Rena isn't the cleverest of witches it all goes wrong with hilarious results! Of course its up to the Treebobs to rescue her.

"Fabulous comical and clever"
Me and my grandchildren could listen to this over and over again its so funny. Badlot Barbara and Rotten Rena being rival witches and the way in which Barbara tricks poor old Rena into drinking the slimming potion is priceless as is the balloon sound effects...this is a hit for now and the future!
I can't really compare it...its just all so different a sort of fairy tale with a very modern feel but full of mad cap magic and nutty witches...and of course dippy Rotten Rena who can't get magic right...a sort of worst witch with elves
I have listened to Lindsay in the Treebobs and the Runaway Cauldron...she just gets better and better
Weight watching the Rena Way
Its wonderful Declan Harney is to be congratulated in writing something so different that both children and adults love
"A Very Funny Outcome to a Very Tricky Predicament"
The children kept interested because they wanted to know how Rotten Rena's problem could be solved. They particularly loved the squabbling between the two witches and thought it was very funny
The Treebobs are lovely but the two witches Rotten Rena and Badlot Barbara "steal the show"
Definitely
It was so absorbing. It would be lovely to have some "Treebob" themed toys. I've already been asked for a flying pip!!! Unfortunately for now it looks like it's down to egg boxes and sticky backed plastic
"Brilliant baddies and not too sweet goodies"
Yes...I am sure the children and me miss some of the nuamces of what Rena says
Definitely Rotten Rena ...because she's threatening and bad......but enough of a buffoon not to be too scary for little ones
she manages to make the difference between the two witches , makes them 3D
a new take on weightwatchers !
having heard the story I am now going to get the book so we can see the illustrations ...especially if there's one of Rena covered in egg
