I enjoyed the story. Many have said that the narration was a problem - I disagree. The narrator did a very good job. I don't want to give anything away, but I usually stay away from books that make me cry. This one did. I read books for laughter, good stories, interesting characters and a way to escape life and its traumas. This book delivered on most counts, but added traumas I did not need or want.

I will be happy to read more from this author and listen to more books by this narrator. I just wish there was a way to give a kleenex rating so that I can avoid tear-jerkers in the future!

I think I found this under chic lit which is a bit unfair I think. It's really interesting with the different characters and the way they intertwine. Nothing too heavy but a good listen.

I loved this story, but I had a very hard time getting past the narration. I could only listen for a little while at a time because the narration was so annoying.

This is one I would recommend you read instead of listen to. Narrator is very nasally.

This is not a romance novel it is a story about a woman who was adopted and meeting her birth parents. The romance part is about 10% of the story and really seems like it is more of an after thought. The narrator is BAD she has the strangest voices for even the female characters. Waste of a credit.

I liked the story alot. I wasn't thrilled with the narration. Her voices are strange.

I typically have always enjoyed Susan Mallery's books. This is the first one that I found I was ready for it to end. It seemed to drag and was predictable. I can never see myself listening to it again and plan on deleting it from my iPod. My overall reaction to it was

the narrator had a nasal voice for some of the characters - not really enjoyable. But the story was fun to listen to

Although I did enjoy the story, every male character was completely one-dimensional, and the voice performance was pretty bad and was really frustrating at time when she spoke internal dialogue as if each character was constantly making lists. This would have been a lot better if it had been narrated by someone else.

I really enjoyed & I hope we hear more about Jenna and her extended Family!!!
