"A great book for fans of monster horror books"
I was delightfully surprised how good this book was. The scenario is set up well and the author did his homework on Wendigos and you really feel the fear and paranoia that the characters go through. I really liked the two main characters of the story and cared what happened to them. I would recommend that you read the first book but it is not necessary but it does give you a background on the characters so that it is easier to follow.

"excellence"
This is Book 2 of the Monstrumologist Series. It is fantastic. The narration is superior to most audiobooks. The story perfectly continues the series, the characters mature and new characters do not disappoint. Although this series is a dark one and it has plenty of violence and gore, it is incredibly interesting and a lot of fun to listen to.

"The narrator "made" the story for me."
Would you consider the audio edition of The Curse of Wendigo to be better than the print version?Yes! I trudged through the first book and purchased the 2nd & 3rd books without much enthusiasm. After a few chapters of the second book, I started to lose interest and putt the book back on the shelf, doubting I would pick it up again.
Recently, however, I was in need of a new audio book, so I decided to give the audio version a try. SO much better! Steven brings the Monstrumologist to life in a way that is wittier and more "human" then the character I pictured in my head. He delivers the dialog and banter perfectly.
I now eagerly await the rumored 4th book when last week I was debating if I wanted to finish the 2nd! I will say.... if Steven isn't able to narrate, I don't think I would try the audio version of any new books in the series. He read it so perfectly, I don't think I could listen to the characters being read by anyone else.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)It was ok. I was a little shocked at some of the events that took place.
Which scene was your favorite?I enjoyed the book as a whole. I listened to about 70% of this book and 50% of the third while doing work around the house during one weeked, so the books run together in my mind. I can't really pick something out of one.
