Struggling in his role as a newly single father, former army medic Kevin O’Brien moves home to Chesapeake Shores. He wants a haven for himself and his toddler son, surrounded by the family he knows he can count on, and a future that’s nothing like his past. But Kevin is suddenly facing a risk he hadn’t anticipated, in the form of Main Street bookseller Shanna Carlyle.
Shanna immediately recognizes Kevin as a wounded soul - she’s had way too much experience with the type. Still, this charming O’Brien man and his son are almost impossible to resist.
Then, just when the barriers are toppling, someone from Shanna’s past appears. Confronted with a threat to their hard-won serenity, Kevin and Shanna face their toughest challenge - learning to trust again.
Spend some more time in Chesapeake Shores.

"One of the Best Series I've read.........."
This book, just like book 1 and 2 just absorbs you in the life of the O'Brien family again. It feels like you are a part of the town and all it's activities. I just love this series and can't wait for more. A truly enjoyable read, especially if you are a Nora Roberts fan or Robyn Carr fan. I couldn't put it down, read it in a day!!
I love the close family ties in this entire series
A love the narrator, she has a very likable voice and draws you in right from the start.
The Obrien's - the whole story
"Snuggle up with Harbor Lights"
I would listen to Harbor lights again. It was so enjoyable and kept my attention. I didn't want to put it down.
I love Mic and the way he always seems to put himself into the picture. He cares so much for his family and it distresses him when they aren't happy. He is proving to be such a good father and husband.
Yes, I have listened to the whole series with her.
I did my best to listen to this all in one setting, but it was longer than even I could sit. It would be great on a road trip.
This whole series has been so enjoyable. I will be so dissappointed when it ends.
"a every good story of an irish family"
It is # 8 of 10
Abby O'Brian
she can do the accent pretty well
yes
I enjoy following the family story
"I enjoy the series"
I enjoy the series but a lot of the story lines are the same and some of the characters are whiny. Shanna's friend Lorie was rude and too aggressive. I enjoy some of the characters. Certain parts of the book are heartwarming and your eyes will mist.
