He was known as “the crazy one.” And Leda Stowe could see why after finding the stunning half-naked warrior in her lion’s pen - unarmed and completely unafraid. Though he could somehow soothe the temperamental beast, nothing could calm the desire that sparked through her body at his touch. She wished they could hide away together on her island forever, but the world thrummed with danger. Before Leda could claim Hunter for herself, they would have to join the other Immortals to face the greatest trial yet: The Gathering.

"Immortals: The Gathering....Wow!"
This is an interesting story. The narrator Rebecca Cook has a sexy, soothing, dramatic voice, perfect for the Immortal characters. Now, the big however!!! The sex scenes and descriptions do not move the story plot ahead. They are a little much and believe me, I'm not a prude. I do not think if someone was breaking into your home, a stranger , that any woman would be talking to herself about the intruder's sexy body nor, would that intruder be turning you on! I say step lightly with sexy scenes. I know this is fantasy which I love, however I'm glad I bought this audio book on sale.
"Time well spent"
Brings together many worlds across many centuries. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Even demi-gods have struggles. I was entertained and consider the time well spent.
"Great Series"
This is a fab series and several authors come together in a seamless way. As usual Rebecca Cook does a fantastic job. She never disappoints with her narration.
"good series"
never read any of the books. Found the series from the readers' other works, Dara Joy books, which are very good.
Our hero, who is just plain funny even though he is on the hunt
not sure, this series is a bit older than the ones now being shown
this series was one of the first when starting as an audible listener. I had only Anna Fields, Natalie Ross, Victor Slazak as readers I wanted. I was looking to expand and found Gabra Zackman. I purchased a few of this reader work and now have mixed feelings.
Must read this series in order or may lose interest as Ashley really does not write these books to stand alone. Way too link to each other to read out of order, which I had.
Enjoy as this series is great fun.
