Publisher's Summary

Helen Decatur spent a lifetime setting goals—getting through college and law school, opening her own practice, becoming financially secure, and establishing herself as one of the most highly respected matrimonial attorneys in the state of South Carolina. Achieving those goals was a breeze compared to the one she's faced with now.

The most driven—and cynical—of the Sweet Magnolias, Helen is 42, single and suddenly ready for the family she's put on the back burner for all these years. Unfortunately, having a child at her age comes with lots of complications, not the least of which is the absence of a serious relationship in her life.

But Helen's not the type of woman to wait around for fate to step in. Taking charge of her own destiny puts her at odds with her two best friends, sets sparks flying with a man who doesn't want a family, and leads her straight into the most unexpected complication of all…love.

Savor more Sweet Magnolias.

    "Feel Good Story!"
What did you love best about Feels Like Family?

As Sherryl Woods books do, you feel right at home and part of the family. The Sweet Magnolia series really wraps itself around you and makes you feel warm and cozy, depsite the ups and down. A great read!

What other book might you compare Feels Like Family to and why?

Susan Wiggs and Debbie Macomber offer the same appeal in their books as well. You never wants the series to end becuase it's like losing a part of you.

What about Janet Metzger’s performance did you like?

Janet does a good job keeping the voices different from each other and really putting the emphases where it needs to be.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed through a lot of it. There are some strong women in this series and they can really make you laugh. But it's brings out the humanity in them.

    "Sweet, Enjoyable Read"

This was a sweet read and makes us all look within ourselves. Helen Decatur is like most strong willed women. She is self-reliant and strong, while deep inside she can be insecure and searching for what everyone wants – love. She wants the love of a family and the book addresses these thoughts that most of us have. The book takes us through several twists and turns and Helen finds out what is really important in life and how she dares to reach out and grab it. The Sweet Magnolia series is an entertaining, light-hearted read that leaves the reader smiling at the end of a book.

Love books, preferably romance and suspense. Typically read/listen to 3-5 a week.

    "Good Book"

I have not read many of Sherryl Woods books and took a chance on this series. I am quite pleased and thoroughly enjoyed each book. I did read them backwards, but had a great time. This one will probably be one I may listen to again.
