There’s no place like home, especially if it’s Serenity, South Carolina. For Annie Sullivan, though, the homecoming is bittersweet. She’d always envisioned a life there with her childhood best friend, Tyler Townsend. But Ty’s betrayal has cost her the family and the future they’d once planned.
For Ty, losing Annie was heartbreaking. Still, he can’t imagine life without the three-year-old son whose mother left him for Ty to raise. Ty wants it all—Annie, his child, and the future he’d dreamed about—and he’s back home in Serenity to fight for it. But getting Annie to forgive and forget may be the hardest challenge he’s ever faced. With the stakes so high, this is one game he can’t afford to lose.

"Pity about the Narrator :("
Maybe the story teller had the worst voice characters.
Annie as the story was about her.
Even if it was just read it would have much better without the accents.
I enjoyed it as it was

"Good Story"
No, Mary Kowal should never read another audio book. She has such fake and disgusting intonations that it is disgusting. Sherry Woods is such a good story teller in her books it is a pity that Mary was chosen to read her books.
The relationship between Ty and Annie was explored and their reunion was very sweet.
Her intonations were so very fake and disgusting. Very bad performance.
It was a very pleasing story.
Sherryl Woods is such a good story teller! I have purchased and listened to this entire series as well as others. However, if I see that Mary Kowal is the narriator in another book that I am interested in by Sherryl, I will not purchase it.

"Tired of the forgiveness"
I have this series in ebook format but wanted to be able to listen to the series while doing other things. I did not like this narrator nor the one in the previous book. It certainly detracts from the listening experience.
I have many books by Sherryl Woods and just purchased another one. No problem with her work.
Lack of differences in voices. Not very good character voices.
Since I have the whole series, I know there are other books that tie in to this.
I really get sick of the whole theme of men cheating on "the love of their lives". I'm sorry, but if you really do love someone , you can't justify having so little respect for that person that it's alright to do that. Just to be completely fair, I also don't think too much of the female cheating on the male.
"Very poor narration!"
No I would not buy another book.
I found the characters unappealing every time things got resolved the female character was upset again, what kind of relationship do they have, no trust at all.
Anyone else! She does not have the ability to change voices for the different characters. It was difficult to tell, at times, who was talking. This is critical in an audio book!!
I was disappointed, just a stupid story.
"Pleasant Southern Charm"
Sweet story but very predictable. This series is a pleasant read that leaves the reader smiling. It isn't one of those books that you can't wait to finish, but it is a series that leaves you feeling good inside. I have read all of the books and this one was very pleasant.
