The loss of HMS Association with all hands in 1707... an admiralty clerk's secret mission 30 years afterwards... a fatal accident during a dive to the wreck in 1996... and an expatriate's reluctant return home 10 years later. It's a conspiracy of circumstances that is about to unravel his life. And with it, the past.

"Another Goddard gem."
I have to admit, I do enjoy Goddard's style of writing. The narrators paired to his books also have the full array of voices to bring the book to life. The only issue of some if Goddard's books are the endings. At times leaves you wanting. This one, though, wraps up nicely. I always enjoy getting in the car in the morning to go to work if I have a Goddard book to continue, this one is no exception. I just added another Goddard book to my wish list. I am sure I will exhaust all of his audiobook works. He clearly is an exceptional story teller.
