"another good one"
What is it about these stories set in Amish country that I enjoy so much? I like Hallmark movies and sometimes I wonder about that as well. Rather than the shoot 'em up, sex and drug stories so many modern ones are these seem to be of a kinder, gentlre nature. As they say in the preface of these stores, they are of the human spirit, maybe that's why, if you believe in the goodness of it. This one is the seond in a trilogy with the first being "The Secret" By the end of this story you have a good idea of what's going to happen in the third book but you want to listen to it anyway to see how it all plays out. Are these the most exciting books I've ever listened to? No. But I can't wait for the final one, "The Telling"!

Which character – as performed by Rachel Botchan – was your favorite?ended up loving heather
Who was the most memorable character of The Missing and why?mama stood her ground & went through alot to follow through w/ what she felt was the right thing to do
Any additional comments?found my self talking out loud in the car as i would anger about the strict rules of the church
