"Patterson delivers a roller coaster ride!"
I have a hard time staying with a book that doesn't grab me in the first chapter. This is why I adore anything written by James Patterson, I wasn't familiar with Mr Ledwidge but his writing only complemented Mr. Pattersons. Their new book "Run For Your Life" is no exception. From the moment we meet the villian til the absolutely hair rising ending, this book grabs you and doesn't let go. I've always preferred Alex Cross to any of his characters but now have a pretty big crush on Mike Bennett also. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this one.
"Undoudbtably the best book he's ever written!!"
I enjoy Patterson's books. Living in South Florida, they are good beach reading material. I can usually take a break and enjoy the water, sand, sites and sounds, and Then, get back to reading. NOT SO in this book! It grabs you right from the start and all the way through to the heart wrenching end! It is definately not a book where you want to be distracted. At the end, I wanted to stand up and holler YEA! Being an audiobook person, I can remember other books that were "made" by the readers. The readers here were Outstanding!! However, even if you were reading it straight off the paper pages, it would still be supurb! Don't pass this one up!!!

"GREAT BOOK!!!"
Wonderful book! Patterson did a great job. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!!
"Michael Bennet deserves more"
After reading Step on a Crack, Bennet's first appearance, I had high hopes for this book. I still like the Bennet character, but the Teacher seemed shallow compared to Jack from "Crack". I still plan to get the next in the series, "Worst Case", but if you are a Patterson fan, Read "Crack" first. It's a great introduction to the Bennet character and will likely hook you a lot quicker than this on.
"Was expecting more"
I love Patterson books, but this one had little thrill and chase. It just kind of ended. I enjoyed it but not as much as some of Patterson's other books
"Weak James Patterson"
This book was a pathetic attempt to make the tough guy hero into a sensitive kind of man. All the stuff about his numerous kids puking simultaneously and crawling into bed with him was so contrived that I wanted to throw up myself. Critics say that a James Bond movie is only as good as its evil protagonist and I think its true for these kinds of detective novels. The "Teacher" evil guy in this book was so poorly drawn that a listener did not even know what his real beef was. Highly disrecommended.
"Great Story. Great Readers."
This book kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. The author made you love the good guys and hate the bad guys. The narrators did a great job of telling the story in a way that captures your interest through out the whole story. I would love to read more stories about Detective Michael Bennett. He is a great character. Keep up the great work!!
"Understandable"
Great book to listen to. Having two narrators really separates the characters. Although this was not my favorite Patterson collaberation, I still enjoyed the book. It could happen...
"Just get another one out"
Slow and predictable. It seemed as though they needed to get another book from Patterson out there so they put this one out.
