As the attraction between Sam and Alyssa heats up again, neither can predict just how deadly hot this situation is about to become.

"Oh Sam!"
If you are new to the Troubleshooters series, I recommend starting from the beginning. The stories are linked. Sam and Alyssa go way back to the first book, although that one is NOT essential to understand things. BUT you DO need to read "The defiant hero" and "Over the Edge" (in that order) to understand Sam and Alyssa's relationship. Things in this book open your eyes to some of the things that Sam says and does.
I read some of the comments on some of the language thing...interestingly I did not notice the swearing at all the first time I listened to the book because it's Sam! In relistening to the book after reading that comment I did notice the swearing, but that's part of what makes him Sam.
The series is amazing. Some people don't like the multiple stories. It may take a bit to get used to it, but I have come to love it. The action is amazing in most of the books (I have to agree with others on the lack of action plot in #12 - All through the night), but having followed Jules' story throughout all the other books, it was OK. These are romance books with explicit scenes mingled with action. If you don't like either, this is not your kind of book. If you like both (you're probably a Gemini), you are in luck! Best books I have ever read, I can't enough. And I can't wait to hear more about Izzy and Eden, which Suz has promised for next book! I was very surprised when she answered my suggestion on her website within a couple of days!
"Suzanne Brockman's Books are always 5 stars"
Exciting, Sexy,Action
Tom and Kelly's wedding
When Sam and Alyssia finally got back together.
Fast paced; action filled and sexy.
Susanne Brockmans' characters are complex and interesting. The reader cares what happens to them and they feel like they are friends. Fast paced and very sexy.
"Ahhhh Sam and Alyssa"
I love love love this book, I'd previously read it in paperback and loved it then but this was awesome!! Mizz Brockmann is a master of the Seal tale and I love them all this one by far the best tough. I do wish that they would have had a male and female Narrator for the opposing parts but hey that's just me Ms Hazlett did a fantastic job and I love the Texas drawl....sounds so much like home here in NC that its scary.
"pornagraphic soap opera"
If you are interested in a good mystery forget this book. It's all about the characters sex lives and very graphic at that. The mystery was lame and a side story. As far as the narration, it wasn't too bad except where Sam was concerned. This hulking navy seal sounded like a southern deb. That was extremely disconcerting !
"Why did I waste my time?????"
No
She did a decent job
This book was really all about foul language and sex....and not in any sort of good way. The story line was awful. Not really sure why I finished it.....
Don't waste your time or your $5.00
"Not gone far enough!"
More plot and less repetition about the same events, i.e. Sam and Alysse in bed
Don't think so.
yes
Say something about yourself!
"What a Total Waste of Time"
Thank goodness I got this one on a $4.95 sale and didn't use a credit. This book is totally ridiculous. There may be a suspense story in there somewhere but it gets lost with the trite, continuous and tacky romance themes. I'm all about a good love/sex scene but these are laughable! I would recommend this book for someone under 25 who still thinks what the author describes is humanly possible. I thought I could just read through the 'encounters' but they just take over the story. Definitely no recommendation from me.
"Sad to say I'm a bit disappointed-read on"
Sure, I love the Troubleshooters Series.
I LOVE Sam's character in previous books. However, in this one his wife and child are missing and may be dead and his major focus is his infatuation with Alyssa - his sometimes girlfriend. While he had his moments [did I mention I LOVE Sam] they were few and far between...I felt he was a selfish jerk much of the time.
She did well with all of them
No, but fortunately it does...love this series.
This is an action packed book BUT there is a lot of romance.
"Could not put this down"
Exciting, romantic, mystery
I liked Georgiana because she had backbone
She did an excellent job of making each character unique
murder, lust and intrigue
"Out F______ Outstanding, Just ask Sam"
Yes I would! Well written great excitement of all kinds.
Biography of George Patton or Billy Mitchell old ways vs new ways.
She has a very good range a voices as she does voices, men, women and accents.
The return of seal team 16, moving Palettey to his wife side at the hospital and protecting them from the old line.
Wonderful wide reaching mystery and emotions.
