Not a writer, a writer wannabe, editor, lit maj, or pretend literary critic. Just an avid reader and now avid listener. I read at least one book a week and listen to an average of two per week. However, I am a snob and have yet to listen to my favorite novels preferring still to read some works.
"Original story, good listen"
Good listen for the beach or car medium suspension of reality, some good twists that kept it from being at all predictable.
I adore English mysteries!!! I love nothing better than hearing a British accent in my earphones!
"Fantastic listen! Finished it in one sitting!"
Yes, very original handling of an old genre.
Nicki's reading is marvelous. Richard's nasal tone is just short of annoying and makes all his "characters" sound much the same, but listenable.
Loved, loved,LOVED the ending!!!!
Can't wait for his next!
