Hounded by the press, under investigation by the police, attacked by both her angry ex-husband and a vindictive business rival, Zan, wracked by fear and pain and sustained only by her belief, which nobody else shares, that Matthew is still alive, sets out to discover who is behind this cruel hoax.

"fragile?"
For most of the book I found the main character to be a little dim witted and fragile. Her credit card has huge charges that she neglects to investigate? ? hmmmm

"Another fun Mary Higgins Clark listen"
A fun mystery which will keep you entertained. I thought I had figured out who the "bad guy" was but she had me fooled until close to the end. A nice, light mystery which isn't so scary that you have to leave all the lights on after listening!

"Thoroughly enjoyed!"
Would you listen to I'll Walk Alone again? Why?Yes, after a few years... It's just my kinda book! No swearing which shows to me, this writer can make ALL of her points by using language that is intelligent... very interesting with twists and turns and held my interest throughout it's entirety.
What was one of the most memorable moments of I'll Walk Alone?I don't want to give away anything so I can't answer :-)
Have you listened to any of Jan Maxwell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?Compares very well to her other "reads", she's very, very good...

"Another great story from the queen of mystery"
What did you like best about this story?The suspense.
Any additional comments?I so appreciate MHC stories. Not only are they suspensful and interesting, but also that she does not have to include bad language such as the "f" word on every page or graphic descriptions that some writers today feel they need to insert to sell their books. I know that when I chose a Mary Higgins Clark book, I am going to be entertained and not disgusted. Please keep it up.

"I loved it - a Great read"
I had alot of chores to get done this weekend, and finished the book before all my chores were done. What a disappointment. It was a great story, just the way I like them, to the point, not stretching it out with unneeded descriptions. Highly recommend for a quick read that you can't put down. It's a case of who dunnit and you would never guess who. A real page turner, so to speak.

"Good but fell short"
I think the history is interesting and keep you engaged while listening. However, there are some aspects of the characters that are quite shallowly dealt.
