Cruel Enchantment

I loved these erotic folktales - some more than others of course - and the expert narration heightens the experience nicely. It is well written and intelligent as far as the genre goes. Enchantment is an apt title as the stories are often mesmerizing and distinctly pleasurable.

The collection had good reviews and the sample sounded okay. The brief description led me to believe it was an erotic fantasy, but most of it was very creepy and strange. Sometimes disturbing and disgusting, I mean, come on... group rape? Chaining someone up and making them drink urine? Yeah, I didn't see a disclaimer; however, if I had any idea that was what the collection contained, there is no way I would have wasted my money on it.

I like fairy tales especially this kind of fairy tales. Wolves, dragoons, and witches with an attitude: nice and hot and chilling. Does anyone like a succubus? Then there is a story for you too.

Janine Ashbless is a rare find- This set of darkly erotic fairy tales combines mythological fantasy, humor, the fire of the feminine cauldron, and the earthy tang of nature- All stories have a female 'heroine' and contain mild graphic eros that a woman with an intrepid imagination and healthy sex drive will appreciate. Not to be missed by the adventurous seeker of quality erotica with a twist. The narrator is also very tolerable. Audible please get more Ashbless in the lists!

A wonderful mix of fantasy and erotica. The writing is sensual, poetic and haunting, but still accessible and very titillating. I especially enjoyed the second and last stories. Intriguing to imagine what a dragon's tongue could do... I've already listened to it twice. Eat your heart out, Brothers Grim!

This book was a pleasant surprise for me.
I had been looking for some decent erotica, and so far I could not find anything worth the bucks.
I got this book a it doubtful after reading the other opinions, but I was surprised to find it not only interesting and exiting but also fun.
I enjoyed it a lot.

This was a good compilation of eroctica set in far off lands and with a fantasy basis. That is how I prefer this genre. It was steamy without being horribly base or offensive. The narration was wonderful, as well.

Why did it take me that long? I only listen to it when my husband is out on business for a week and I'm horny. Not really that good or for much other use.

After listening to the Fifty Shades Trilogy I've been trying to listen to other books that have been similiar and I must admit this has been the best thus far. Very hot and steamy! The verbiage is clearly makes this listen better than the others including Fifty Shades. I liked the narrator much better too!

It was sometimes embarrassing and appallingly perverted at times but ultimately a good guilty pleasure.
