Using his expert techniques, honed from years as a clutter expert and organizational consultant, Peter demonstrates how the clutter in your home is directly related to the clutter on your body, and how clutter negatively affects your ability to lead a full and healthy life. This plan shows you how to clean up not just the spaces where you eat, but the routines around them, from planning meals and shopping to dinnertime rituals.
Peter knows all the pitfalls, and in Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat? he gives you the tools (and courage) you need to get over all your excuses, face the issues, and create the healthy life and body you have always imagined for yourself.

"worth the listen"
the single best concept that was presented in this book was respect. If you don't respect the object enough to care and use it why is it in your house. Also the idea of clutter stressing you and causing you self comfort with food was something I hadnt thought about. and makes a lot of sense. I enjoyed the book and the authors voice is easy to listen to. He does a great job of reading his book.
"uncluttered mind"
I loved this book, it is really not about your butt, it is really about your whole clutterd life. I like his plain talk, and fresh approach. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone I know.
In South Lake Tahoe now; moved here to volunteer in wildlife rehab. Bears, raccoons, squirrels, birds -- lovely! Also knitting, embroidery, spinning and audio books.
"GREAT BOOK WITH A VERY SILLY TITLE!"
So ignore the title! The book is about clutter in your house and your life and in the food you eat. Actually I have not finished listening to this one. I know about food clutter and am down 29 pounds on Nutri-System, so for the moment all my junk food proclivities are in check. After listening a bit, I realized I need to get "It's All Too Much" so I got that and listened to it and was immediately motivated to get rid of a lot of stuff. Peter asks questions that make a person say, Let it go! Yes, it all goes! Some of his other readers report losing weight while they were de-cluttering their homes! I had thought my French knitting books from the 70's were part of me. No. And the church organ music starting in the 50's and continuing into Spain and Germany. No. Not me anymore. I will not play for another wedding or church service! I will not be crocheting a bikini or knitting any baby clothes. Whee! Peter makes these decisions easy and leaves his clients and readers free to let in new kinds of life. Thanks, Peter!
"Life Changing!!!!!!"
Thank you Peter, your book is inspiring . Your advice is a real wake up call.
Your book is a great tool to have anytime I need motivation, Strongly recommend this book, A. no nonsense reality of why we are fat and what prevents us from losing the weight.
"Refreshing look at weight loss"
Non-judgemental approach to getting out of the patterns you have created.
Getting to the root of the problem, the weight is a byproduct.
His no-nonsense attitude.
Couldn't be improved from the title.
Increase the speaker speed on your kindle to at least 1.5 - he is a little slow for me.
"Fat is Clutter"
It's all perspective
No, but I will listen to others.
Realizing that an out of control environment plays havoc with your weight makes sense and is a great concept to work to control. I enjoyed this listen very much and am listening to it again.
"FANTASTIC READ!!"
This book takes you step by step through both removing clutter and how it affects you and your life and health. It also has input from people who he has helped. Authentic help from the get go.
Helpful all the way through.
He is funny without talking down to the reader.
I didn't plan on it, but I couldn't "put it down".
This one you will want to play again and again. It's that good!
"A cluttered and dull narration"
This audio book is a perfect example of when the author should not narrate his own audio book. Walsh's dull narration has very little inflection and no enthusiasm for the topic. If you manage to get beyond this, the points of the book could have been made in less than an hour - your cluttered environment contributes to excess pounds. His recommendations are nothing that haven't been in other books on clearing clutter and losing weight. The world didn't need another book on the topic. I had to chuckle to myself when, after he has gone on and on about getting rid of the stuff in your house, he recommends you go buy one of his other books! Note that he doesn't recommend that you go to the library and check it out. Save your money, save your time. Clean your house; you'll lose weight - that's all this book says.
