Mehmet Oz and Michael Roizen, two powerhouse doctors in both the medical profession and in the media, have made a virtual cottage industry around the YOU series. They team up once again to bring us this updated edition of You: The Owner's Manual - the audio you should listen to before you listen to any other audiobook. The doctors have included a new chapter on the liver and pancreas, which will finally demystify the most exotic part of our bodies; a new workout chapter; and a Q & A.

"OK Book"
The audio book was ok. It contained usefull info, but a lot of bla bla. The authors go into depth about each organ and how each functions (enough to put you to sleep) and they make a lot of cheesy comparisons (every two minutes throughout the entire 8 hour session). In my opinion, 75% fat and 25% lean info.
"Good"
I liked it, but it's difficult to digest and retain all the action plan details. The action plans are where you act upon what you just learned. It's these parts of the book that are the most valuable, but are also least conducive to the audio format. I learned a lot, but have forgotten most of the steps I should take to live healthier.
"Everyone must read/listen to this"
I've bought some hardcopies to give to family members. It makes a good gift, especially when folks are inspired by new year's resolutions to make lifestyle changes. I read/listen to this at least twice a year.
