"I loved this book"
I cant explain how much i loved the book, the story was very well written, and the cast was excellent. I wish that the other 2 books following were on audio cd, because i would have definitly purchased those, but i have read book 4 and 5 and wasnt disappointed!!!
I highly recommend Ms robys' books
"Roby succeeds with Casting The First Stone"
Kimberla Lawson Roby explores the lives of the church leaders who struggle with their emotions and reactions and the impact of their choices on those closest to them (family and church members). She shows the reader the differences between those who stand in scripture, and those who live as hypocrites, and how what is in the dark finally comes to light. The author vividly paints the emotions of each character who is casting the first stone. A very good and interesting read.
"What a great book"
My niece recommended I listen to this book, and I usually listen to murder, mystery, etc. This book kept me listening for hours at a time and I was surprised by the beginning, middle and end! The ending was superb because it opens your eyes to one's own spirituality and relationship with God, family and friends. This book is definitely a must read/listen regardless of what genre you prefer to listen to...it will keep you on your toes at all times. GREAT BOOK!
"One of Lawson's best!"
Easy read and a wonderfull twist at the end. I listened to this book twice and was able to enjoy it a second time around!
"Awesome Lessons to be Learned Good Book"
I love the fact that there were real scenerios to be dealt with. Things that happen in the real word that pastors/1st Ladys face every day..
Tanya, I loved how real she was a true Black women of character she fough for her marriage and dealth with the issue alone and kept it away from her daughter. And fought in a righteous way not sinful way.
When Tanya made up her mind to leave and move on with her life for the best for her daughter and self
The same as the Book Title
"Preachers are still - Just men"
The story line kept you wanting to listen for more. Pastors does have a responsible to watch over your soul, but you have a greater responsible to also keep you soul in line with what God has for you. Church people has got to start living so that others can come to Christ.
When Curtis gets what he deserves in the end
Alicia, because she was the only one that wasn't deceitful
This book should teach you that you shouldn't put all your trust in man and that you should follow the Preacher as he follows Christ. No person is exempt from Sin.
Great Book.
LIBERAL DEMOCRAT.
"roby did a great job with this book"
the climax in the church.
