"Blood Lands by Ralph Cotton"
In Blood Lands, Ralph Cotton weaves a tale of frontier justice. Set at the end of the Civil War, in the Kansas and Colorado territories, this story illustrates how a few corrupt men took advantage of the rights to bear arms and form militias during a time of national unrest. This story has villains, and it has heroes. It has unspeakable crimes, and it has poetic frontier justice. This is a fun read! The characters are believable, and the plot is masterful!

Blood Lands is one of the best audiobooks I have listened to so far well acted believeable characters it was like a tell out of the old west. After the war between the states. With men geedy with power and violence ruled the day. Stopped by a woman who found the carriage and strength for revenge.
For me it was when Jewely finely got her justice for all the violents, rapes ,assauits and the murder of her father and his friend.
