"5+ stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
What a great book this was! I honestly could not/would not put it down. As a woman, it was really refreshing to hear the male perspective on love and relationships. One character was a D-O-G, but I was more upset with the women in his life for putting up with him as long as they did. We deserve better. The book also showed the other extreme of a loud, stubborn, greedy chick whose man truly loved her (for reasons I still don't understand). It was nice having an ensemble cast for the recording. And the best part ... well, I won't spoil it for you, but the ladies had their say too. Enjoy!
LIFE just happens that way sometimes!
"An Amazing Book"
So much suspense and this book kept me at the edge of my seat I couldn't even imagined all the plots for all the characters. The last part of the book was great it was wonderful when the women began narrating. eveything al came together and the different paths in each situation was a true example of what it means to go through life and how age helps you learn lessons you should have picked up along the way. I loved this book made me feel like my life was part of this story.
"Awesome Book!"
Once again Carl Weber delivers. This book shows the bond between REAL friends. Awesome storyline.
"Married Men"
Explosive !!!
Hats off to the author. I really enjoyed this book. The twist and turns of it all while telling some of the most compelling dilemma's wow!!
Get it! Read it! and Enjoy it
"Many Lessons Learned"
This was an excellent book. My husband and I enjoyed listening to it and feel it is a great learning experience when dealing with relationships. The author delved into serious issues that many couples face. We think this book is very well written and keeps you in suspense waiting to hear the outcomes of the difficult situations the characters find themselves in. We are still discussing how the men continued to come to the aid of each other. But, we definitely believe they could have used better judgement when giving each other advice and how to stay out of trouble as married men.
Love books on tape! It's all about the narrators for me though. No matter how good the story, if the narrator doesn't cut it...
"Carl Weber is AMAZING...as usual!!!"
Carl's ability of being able to introduce so many different characters and have them flawlessly intertwine with each other is just pure talent. And the way things took place and ended was nothing what I expected....it was even better. THIS IS A MUST READ! I promise you will not be disappointed.
"Excellent Story"
The stories were each very interesting and the drama was amazing. I couldn't stop listening.
Jay actually left his wife and kids for a 19-year old colledge student. Another memorable moment was when Allen found out about the baby not being his. He loved the baby so much even after finding out. Val remained so cold and selfish. She got what she deserved.
After the divorce, Kyle refusing Val's advances was a sigh of relief. Her actions were typical of a crazy, angry women. The decription of the apartement full of burning candles and rose pedals as well as the aroma gave me a clear visual. It was sad that Kyle was hit by the car instead of crazy Val.
When Will and Di were in the hospital waiting room. I was hoping that Di would take him back since he didn't deserve to loose his family over a prank. I was so happy for Will and Di when she allowed him to return home. I was also happy to see that things worked out great for Allen and Kyle.
I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was so intriguing, I just couldn't stop listening as I found myself desperately anticipating what was going to happen next.
"Smackin of the Teeth"
The story was interesting, but Mr. Weber used "smacking of the teeth" at least 500 times in this book! That was getting old! Other than that.... the storyline was pretty good.
"A Must Read"
Carl Weber keeps the reader/listener on the edge of their seat with his zippy tales of 4 married men. The narrators do an excellent job and the story flows from one character to the next very smoothly. Not at all a borin gread and well worth the download
"Great Listen"
I love Carl Weber, and this book was no exception. Like all of Carl's book, there was plenty of drama, twists, and turns. Definitely worth listening.
