Any additional comments?My 8 year old listened to this book - it seemed to be riveting for her. She didn't want to put it down and listened to it constantly, through dinner, on our walk, riding in the car, and even lying in bed before lights out. Only books like The Secret Garden, A Wind in the Door, and Anne of Green Gables have elicited a similar listening intensity for her. My daughter is eagerly awaiting the next children's book from M.M. Kaye. Narration is vital for children's audiobook versions and from listening to this preview I immediately appreciated Simone Tetrault's lyrical voice and pleasant reading pace.
