The people of Cedar Cove know how to celebrate Christmas. Like Grace and Olivia and everyone else, Beth Morehouse expects this Christmas to be one of her best. Her small Christmas-tree farm is prospering, her daughters and her dogs are happy and well, and her new relationship with local vet Ted Reynolds is showing plenty of romantic promise. But... someone recently left a basket filled with puppies on her doorstep, puppies she’s determined to place in good homes. That’s complication number one. And number two is that her daughters Bailey and Sophie have invited their dad, Beth’s ex-husband, Kent, to Cedar Cove for Christmas. The girls have visions of a mom-and-dad reunion dancing in their heads.
As always in life - and in Cedar Cove - there are surprises, too. More than one family’s going to have a puppy under the tree. More than one scheme will go awry. And more than one romance will have a happy ending! What would the holidays be without a new Christmas story from Debbie Macomber?
Spend some more time in Cedar Cove.

"Cedar Cove Books are great"
Nararator Sandra Burr is great. I couldn't wait to hear the final book in the Cedar Cove series to find out what happened to all the people in the stories. I have read these books three times and enjoy them every time I hear them.
Great she is one of the best I have ever heard, I order many books because she is the nararator
Oliva and Grace
"Story line weaker than most of Macomber's"
I enjoy Debbie Macomber's books, including the Cedar Cove series. This final book of the series lost a little oomph compared to the others. Story lines seemed contrived and more 1940-ish than 21st century. If you've kept up the the series it's worth it to finish them off with this book, however it is not up to Ms. Macomber's usual standards.
Ms. Burr's narration is excellent.
"Good as always"
If you have never read a book in this series, it might be a little confusing, but even then it is a really good listen.
"Enjoyable at Christmas"
Cute storyline, not my typical read but would consider a similar book again in the future.
"Another day in the life of Cedar Cove"
Cedar Cove is a great place to visit and enjoy the lives of interesting people and their real world lives. Life is tough and it is a pleasure to spend time visiting with characters as they make the most if the time given them on this earth, especially at Christmas time. Christmas means different things to all of us and the Cedar Cove residents help us understand that the value of Christmas is enriched when shared with friends and family!
"im really sad that this is the last"
im really sad that these are the last of the cedar cove books and stories as they have been great i have loved the way debbie has intergrated all the families. and sandra burr is an excellent narrater
I look forward to next serise of books.
"Good wrapup to the series, so-so story"
I have listened to all the books in this series, and was interested to hear the ending. Most of the book is brief recaps of each major character's story. The story that ties these together is pretty skimpy. The first few chapters leave us knowing what those characters plan for the future. This book is mainly Ms Macomber saying goodbye to her friends at Cedar Cove. It seemed like she kinda got tired of it before she covered all the characters. A few of the lesser characters weren't mentioned at all. However, the story was well narrated by Sandra Burr, and it is nice to know that all the people I got to know are safely settled in storyland. I would recommend this to anyone who read most of the series, just for the closure.
A 50-something who loves sci-fi, cozy mysteries, thrillers, an occasional romance, and any genre if it is a good story. And especially if it makes me laugh! No vampires or zombies though - these are NOT sci-fi!
"Confusing"
If, like me, you have not read the Cedar Cove series, don't download this book! I was so confused by all the characters that I didn't know that I gave up about 45 minutes into the story. Maybe I'll read some of the series and come back later to this one!
