With a dagger in her hand and vengeance on her mind, Darkhaven beauty Elise Chase prowls Boston's streets in search of retribution against the Rogue vampires who took from her everything she cherished. Using an extraordinary psychic gift, she tracks her prey, well aware that the power she possesses is destroying her. She must learn to harness this gift, and for that she can turn to only one man: the deadliest of the Breed warriors, Tegan.
No stranger to loss, Tegan knows Elise's pain. He knows fury, but when he slays his enemies, it is with ice in his veins. He is perfect in his self-control, until Elise seeks his aid in her personal war. An unholy alliance is forged - a bond that will link them by blood and vow - and plunge them into a tempest of danger, desire, and the darkest passions of the heart.
Spend some more time among the Midnight Breed.

"An adrenaline-fueled, sizzlingly sexy, darkly intense addition to Lara Adrian's addictively readable paranormal Breed series." (Chicago Tribune)
"Tegan & Elise"
I was excited to see that this had been added to audio, and the excitement was well worth it. The book kept me hooked, I did not want to stop listening cant wait for the rest of this series to be released. Please keep them coming.
"Another Winner!!"
I really enjoy the fact that Lara Adrian has taken the vampire story and put her own very creative twist to it. I have read the whole series and was really pleased to see it on Audible. In my opinion, Ms. Adrian has a cleaver imagination and I hope the rest of the series makes it to audio (and soon)!!! I loved the story of Elise and Tegan when I read it, and I wasn't disappointed at all when I listed to it. I do like Hillary Huber's narration and hope to see (or should I say hear) her back on future reads.
"Hot like the BDB!"
If you are a fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood then you will enjoy Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series. So far each book in the series gets better and better.
Reading is a must-have ESCAPE...
"Spectacular Story!"
Midnight Awakening, Book 3 is by far my favorite in the series to date. (I've read the first five thus far.) So much of the relationship that develops between Tegan & Elise are surprisingly fun & spontaneous. I found myself smirking throughout so many scenes in the story.
Elise is a unique character in the story... polished, refined, yet, incredibly attracted to the brutish Tegan. All integrated into an unfolding, well-developed, paranormal drama.
Kiss of Midnight, Book 1 with Lucan & Gabrielle is comparatively wonderful.
The vampirical exchanges between the chief characters are sexy as all hell.
Lots of laughing and/or smirking.
The language and intimate scenes are extremely graphic... so this story isn't for the prudish at heart.
"Keep getting better!!!"
Love this books can't wait to listen to the next one!
"WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THE "BREED BOYS""
Right up there at the top. I have really liked this series. I think L.A. has an immense imagination and creativity to have built the world not only where the Breeds live and wage war, but the world from which they came.
The entire book/series is memorable and I find myself recommending it to others, which is something I typically do not do.
Can't tell without spoiling.
I did not cry, did laugh a little, but mostly sat on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what was going to happen next.
"I LOVE TEGAN!!!"
Passionate, tormented, awakend
When Tegan came to realize his feelings and all that he has been missing and avoiding.
Tegan
See the answer to the first question... Passion, tormented, awakend
On to book #4... I truly love this series
"Narrator dropped the ball!"
The story is fantastic. Adrian didn't disappoint! But I would not recommend this audiobook. For me I like a narrator that keeps continuity with the character. This narrator was all over the place with each character. Very disappointing!
Tegan's character development.
In the first book she was spot on for Tegan. No matter if he was being slammed into a mirror of glass or killing a rogue his voice was always the same. In this book his voice was all snark, anger, etc. Also, Niko sounded anything but Russian and Dante and Rio were basically the same voice.
When time doesn't heal your wound there is always revenge.
"Great Series"
I had read these books years ago but I have found considerable enjoyment from listening to them. Great job done by the narrator. I will be Listening to the whole series
"Erotic vampires! What's not to love?"
definately.
I listened to all of this series back to back. Loved them all. The reader is great.
