"another wonderful story by andrew grey"

This is a really nice sequel to Bottled up. If you enjoyed the first book you'll enjoy this one. The writing flows well and the narrator does a great job. It is easy to tell the characters apart and the voicesw are not hard to listen to.

    "Grey is Great"

This book made me smile. The reader is wonderful and the story had real depth to it. It wasn't just about sex.

I've noticed that a lot of the gay/lesbian genre available on audible presents stories more focused on sex or scandal. I was thrilled because this is a sweet story about the characters and about love.

Grey presents wholesome relatable characters that you will grow to love.

Bottle Up isn't perfect, but it's fun to listen to and closer to what I'd imagine a male/male relationship is really like. It feels real to me. I suggested the book to a dear friend of mine who is a gay male and he enjoyed the story as well and agreed it felt real unlike most in the genre.

Grey writes some of the best gay romance on audible. I highly recommend him.

    "not my author"

I was disappointed by "Bottled Up" and realised too late that I had bought the sequel with "Uncorked".
By comparison "Uncorked" is better than its predecessor, yet it suffers from the same weaknesses: Poorly developed characters and a too predictable plot.
Besides the editing could have been better.
The narration was fine, however, even the best performance can't help a weak story.

    "File Playback Problem"

I loved the story. My issue is with the (enhanced) audio file. It's possible that it's just my player, but I don't think so. I deleted the file and downloaded it again to be sure. Each chapter plays twice. So at the end of a chapter, I have to skip the duplicate chapter to get to the next one. The download says that the story is 5+ hours on the site, but it says it's 9+ hours when received. Otherwise it's good.

    Story
"Not as good as the first..."

I wanted to like this story. I looked forward to a continuation of Bottled Up. Sadly. I had issues with how realistic the actions of teenaged Kenny and Bobby. I mean, really. Two 16 year old boys having tickle and pillow fights? Maybe in days gone by, but when stories are based in the more or less present time, I had serious issues with the believing the characters. I really did find it annoying.

I also was unable to accept the reappeatance of Big Mike, and Bobby's forgiving him for the past. Sure, it's possible to forgive someone who's wronged you horribly, but would it REALLY be that easy to forgive the man who fathered you with his own half sister and then later tried to sexually assault you as a 16 year old kid?

All in all, a disappointment. Save your credit. This is one book that's better passed by.
