"mental health nursing"
I enjoyed the rationale section of these audible notes; however, the reviews were very vague and did not even talk about what illness went with what DSVM IV code, which I thought should have been expressed. They were no worth the money because they were to vague for me.
"good for the basics"
For my first Audible audiobook purchase, I am quire pleased. I'm a 3rd year nursing student who had a mental health course, and this did a nice job in explaining the basics of MH (bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, abuse, suicidality...). However, I've found listening to this solely isn't enough to prepare onself for an exam since there are little details related to meds and interventions.
My fave part... the practice question section at the end of each chapter and the definitions given at the beginning of each chapter.
Everything was explained well, in simple words, which helped a ton.
Happy studying!
